I'm sat with the tennis on in the background and obviously, if only half-heartedly supporting Andy Murray...

I'm all for watching sport when there's a vested interest...Love the Olympics and can't help but feel supportive whenever there's someone from the N/E or N/I involved in most things, to be fair I'd probably even get excited if one of my mates got a couple of questions right in a pub quiz....

BUT

Is there any sports that, regardless of who is taking part, you just can't get excited about?

I personally find snooker painfully tedious. Loads of my mates love it, but I really struggle to get excited by a game played by waiter-lookalikes at the pace of a on-the-brink stannah stair lift!

Is it Ryder Cup Golf? Is it the Ashes? Does rugby bore you to tears? Let me know, I'm trying to avoid packing!

I just don't get test cricket, and you are right about snooker.

But apart from those 2, I will watch just about any sport and I love, football, rugby, boxing, thai boxing,MMA,and motocycling.

i find nearly every other sport boring to watch except any racing on two wheels and football.i guess it might have something to do with participating in the two sports mentioned.

side note just flicked through the channels on sky and found ghana premier league on BEN ch 184

<laugh> the ref's called lord vuvor <laugh>

Murrary through...Couldn't see it happening at about 10:30, so fair play!

Wein14 - I love a bit of rugby! I live with 4 Rugby players at uni, so well and truly forced into it, but I've really gotten into it...Can sometimes be tedious, but they've brought in new rules to try and help the game's pace and entertainment value! I'd always watch England n Ireland and Ulster games are free on UTV so become a bit of an armchair fan for them as well!

Rugby, Basketball and most of all Horse racing.

I don't mind watching the Snooker, Darts, Golf, American Football is brilliant, Baseball can be painful sometimes but you can get some good games in that.

Jesus get a watch of that snooker on Sky tonight at 6, 20 seconds a shot, pot a ball or hit a cushion or its a foul, no rolling up to snooker someone and only 10 minutes a frame

Sounds brilliant! Wish it was on the Beeb though, going on the lash... CMON HIGGINS!!!!

Know what you mean about Baseball, the highlights are good, but when you get a live scrappy game it's agony!

Just ordered it from Amazon.

You not seen it before OT? Him and Vegas, brilliance!

I'm afraid i'm gonna have to disagree with you Wein, i thought it was hugely disappointing.
