I don't understand the issue people have with Rafa. Ungrateful Kants..he's won your teams trophies....and it is trophies you regard as success, no?

I think a lot of people have been on a bandwagon with no real reason for the hate towards him..especially Chelsea fans and Pool fans who constantly remind the rest of us about their 5 European cups. I'm sure Rafa helped get the 5th one.

 

Not really, I would say the standard of his paella could equally be regarded as a success.

While I am not a massive fan of Ashley, either as a chairman or a person, we can't really complain about him this season. He invested the money. The problem was with the idiots he trusted to use that investment. We have an amateur in Lee Charnley running the club who has overseen some of the worst decisions the club has ever made. I'd be glad to see him gone - and he can take Graham Carr with him.

 

If he's invested it's because he knows he'll lose a **** load of revenue if you're relegated,

Was not trying to belittle Newcastle, just saying that's his level now and I agree, he'll be great in the Championship - if as is looking likely you do go down.

If he jumps ship it's because his ego (something that has always come before a fall throughout his career) still believes he's better than he actually is. In his mind he's one of the best managers around, but the truth is, in a battle between him and one-dimensional Fat Sam, he came last.

 

I hate to keep bringing this up (no honest ) but is there any doubt left that Rafa the useless deluded fat **** is anything more than a Championship level manager?
