Seems a weird one but only 20 and 6'4 - Mick must have seen something he liked. Apparently can play RB. Quite a few people feel Parr may be on his way in Jan - at the end of the day, if Parr isn't seen as first choice he's probably on a decent penny and if he's not going to get a go it's in both his and our interests for him to move on.
I've looked at a few Barnsley forums, and the consensus seems to be that this lad is average, at best. He is a midfielder by trade, but can also play at right-back. Offers us a bit of cover, I guess. Still, I hope he gets an opportunity in the first team but, really, I am hoping for more than this in January. It's a great chance for us to build on our achievements and, arguably, we didn't do that last January (Sears aside) and our promotion bid fell apart as a result.
He comes across well in the Player interview. Prepared to work hard etc. Maybe he'll get his debut at the weekend.
