Ranieri did the best he could. It isn't his fault he faced up against the Invincibles. Your argument is pretty flawed. It doesn't matter how much a club spends, it's the players being bought with the money. Speaking of players, Ranieri bought some really awful players like Glen Johnson, Wayne Bridge, Mutu etc. Goes to show how you spend with the investments.
Ranieri had one season under Roman. It was a more successful season than LVG has managed so far. Spurs get their money from Joe Lewis / ENIC. If you want to talk net spend then there's your example.

Didn't mention net spend. And we likely won't, but right now, its impossible to say anyone one will win it. Nobody seems bothered so anyone of 5 teams could stumble across the line.

Honestly, who mentioned net spend? Ranieri spent £200m in the early 00s and didn't win a title. That's right up there with the worst of them.

Because the figures you quoted were incorrect. £190m for LVG when the website clearly states £250+m. I was trying to make sense of the figures you were manipulating/fabricating.
I did state that being in the early 00s it was an massive amount. He spent £153m in one season, 12 years ago. That's the most mental single season spend of any manager.
