The McLaren show has been a bit of a balls-up from the rather late off.
Assuming its a poor show on Sunday - and maybe similar in Hungary - will it be a root and branch shake out?

the team is starting to promise like Wenger - lots of talk and little delivery.

Whitmarsh and Wenger are the same. They can't lead a team to glory.

I feel a bit sorry for JB and Lewis. A few races ago they were winning races and harrying Vettel to the finishing line and now they seem to have gone a bit 'Mercedes GP' for want of a better expression.

Still, it all comes back around eventually.

Is it still the case that Jenson is running a different rear wing? I didn't watch Q3 but Button was a lot slower again.

That is what Williams keep telling themselves.

Button was faster on the primes that Hamilton and less than a tenth slower on the options, it is not that bad.

    WOHHHAAAA

WHAT A LAP FROM HAMI !!

Never saw that coming. Fantastic. Looks like my half full glass won through.

Jenson's head is spinning as he tries to come to terms with Hamiltons time. A picture.

Maybe its more of a throw it around track, suiting Hamilton enough so that he can overcome the car problems.

Button has to hope for rain - he has just lost grip in whatever the team have tried.

True. But you do get the feeling that in Massa's case he is very much the number two driver. Not so at Mclaren.

I think he just lost balance and grip in quali whether that was due to low fuel, weather, track temperature or whatever. In P3 he was quicker than Hamilton on the primes and only a tenth slower on the options. It is just quite frustrating that Button is so sensitive to the balance of the car..

Not sure about aqua plane conditions and full wets but certainly on a damp/wet track this season at both Canada and Silverstone Button has gone backwards on intermediates. Only when the track dried and he was back on slicks did he come alive.

Hamilton abandoned his fastest lap on primes in P3 when he was 3 tenths up. He had learned what he needed as it was just practice. He was always ahead on both compounds in quali where it mattered.

My point was that he was more or less up there in practice it was just quali where he lost it for whatever reasons.

Come to the conclusion that Lewis is a very, very talented driver.
