Its hard to go against the Moore's at Sandown so has to be Master of Speed in the first. Petite Parisienne. Vic Du Touzaine. Yorkhill - Welsh Shadow forecast. Ill go with you guys on Araldur but a saver on Aachen. My old favourite Melodic who has been pricewised in the last.
Ayr 2.05-Cappard King 2/1.Only C&D in the field and won his first Chase back in November. The rest of the field doesn't look to strong so should be able to take this. Sandown 1.15-Toowoomba 9/2 win.Runs off a lovely mark at bottom weight and will like the ground, must go close.
Couple at Sandown for me: 12:40 The Govaness has been a good servant to me in the past and today I will stick with her to land the spoils for the doctor. In the big one I fancy 007 simply at the prices, someone has already stated Hendo's record in this race, and I can't ignore that this is one of the value bets of the day. Over at Ayr I think Mumgos Debut is finally going to end his streak of seconds and should be winning at 3/1.
bigirononhiship has won at 18/1 in the first at ayr-the horse outlaw josey wales runs in the last --does anyone know the connection --i had to back them because of it , its a musical connection .......
Stoke look decent value to beat West Brom away 13/8.Stoke are beginning to jell and scoring goals freely at the moment whereas West Brom can't seem to find the back of the onion bag
Beautifully done. Had stacks in hand and loved the surface. Is he as big as he looks Don? Was galloping into submission up the straight.
Thanks, he's been claimed by Dereck Shaw so keep an eye out for him! Had 23 claims! We only had him for 2 months but 2 wins and a second and some nice money off the bookies can't complain! He's anchored all my bets today so could be more to come!
Araldur for the patent thanks to the forum's tips for Yorkhill and Polly Peachum. Should really cash out but will keep the faith. Well done the Don, a good couple of days for you and connections, congratulations
Afternoon all - congrats to the Don! Just one for me today - French opera in the next at Sandown. Off to Vicarage Road in a bit but more in hope than expectation...
Yorkhill looked a bit of alright. I'd love to know their pecking order at home. Aruldur travelled lovely for a long way but got tired.
It's a frustrating game at times. In the Ayr bumper I backed the Alflora gelding Reivers Lad e/w (I always look for Alflora's in heavy ground bumpers) and coming off the final bend it looked like a question of how far for Nicky Richards charge. But then Brian Harding, with the full width of the home straight at his disposal, decides to charge his mount up the arse of the leader when coming to challenge and checks the horses momentum so badly that any chance of winning is gone
