Yorkhill looked a bit of alright. I'd love to know their pecking order at home. Aruldur travelled lovely for a long way but got tired.
It's a frustrating game at times. In the Ayr bumper I backed the Alflora gelding Reivers Lad e/w (I always look for Alflora's in heavy ground bumpers) and coming off the final bend it looked like a question of how far for Nicky Richards charge. But then Brian Harding, with the full width of the home straight at his disposal, decides to charge his mount up the arse of the leader when coming to challenge and checks the horses momentum so badly that any chance of winning is gone
