The legend curtis has confirmed we have our targets in place. Mr Jenkins and the scouts have lined up players they want, The legend also said he has nothing to do with it as that is Mr Jenkins department....( a good comment there curt) You could not make it up really and a massive reason why our club is in a mess and don't have a manager a good experienced manager keen enough to work under such an amateurish system.....Come on Board wake up and smell the coffee and allow the manager to pick the players he needs and stop this ideology that the philosophy and the Swansea way is the B all and end all...
We have all known that Jenkins & Co have a hefty say in who comes in, but managers do get their preferred targets also, as in Laudrop getting Michu, Chico, De Guzman etc, and Rodgers had Borini, Sinclair, and Siggy, so don't try and make out that our board select every player, they do not, end of story.................
are you for real dragon .....wake up and look around you......nobody is interested and you have to question why.......We are going down mark my words if we dont drop this so called Swansea way that has past its sell by date.........Maybe it's for the best the way things at the club are and i wont lose any sleep over it as we are not looking like a premiership side as it stands........It may even do us good to put some reality back in the club.........

I posted on an earlier thread that I hoped this would not turn into a Brian Rix "farce" Which is exactly what it has turned into. Sack the manager with no one to replace. Fly off on a jolly to South America. Beggars belief. Not very professional.
I agree with your observations on our amateurish approach to this but remember it was your favourite Mr Monk who was an accessory to the murder of the Swansea Way so it's little wonder you're happy to see it's demise. It means a lot of things to different people, but for me it's possession football, one-touch, accurate passing, using quick wide men and defending as a team when necessary. It's attractive to watch for the fans, entertaining for the neutral and was developed over a period of years by numerous managers back to Jackett. It's what got us promoted and what made our impression on this League memorable. Throwing that away has been a work in progress recently and I hope Jenkins brings in someone to put it right. If you think that the 'Swansea Way' is something to be so casually tossed aside you're an idiot.
Whoever the new manager is,I think he'd do well to keep dave adams..He seems to have the players onside,and his tactical Input is impressive
Come on now Kifflom the so called Swansea way has not worked for a very long time as been quoted on here and other forums many times. Many teams pass the ball like we can but play a more forward game and score goals, We on the other hand do it the Swansea way passing the ball like other teams but going nowhere and mostly side to side or when under pressure going backwards. We get caught out far to many times because we try to keep the ball and it ends up one touch to many. This is what i can see wrong as there is not enough direct passing going forward and we end up with the lions share of the ball and just a couple of shots or in a few to many cases this season none at all on target. We have the squad and we need jinks to give the new manager the full reign to how he wants us to play and to butt out of insisting we have to play a certain way.
I think we're in a panic state without reason . Curtis and Adams have the team happy and stabilized.We have good players and these two guys are in the process of creating an actual team out of them . Britton and Ki are finally in place in charge of our transition play, Routledge is finally playing . Fernandez is back in place with Amat at the ready for injury duty .Rangel is back a bit putting in his 2 cents toward "The Swansea Way (Hope Naughton is paying attention).Emnes and Eder are ready to take there chance now that they'll get one . Corker is really going to start to come into his own now that he's allowed to be creative . I don't think we need a lot in the way of transfers , maybe something late in the window if our game falls a bit . And we should be in no rush to sign a manager , there is no window for that. There is nothing to fear but fear itself...all ahead full and support Curtis ,Adams and the TEAM , cause we're finaling starting to look like a team .
We all support curt but nothing has really changed has it. We still look poor and don't look like scoring and our defence have to work hard all game under more pressure than they should be under......Our defence has been up there with the best for a number of seasons to be fair to them. But at the end of the day we don't look like a team capable of winning because the way we play.
We could do more harm than good trying to change things up now , fianacially and results . To see no improvement the last 4 games in general would only be because you don't want to see it . I know you lost you're "Hero " dai but don't take it out on Curtis, trying to make him look like a "Zero " with your sarcastic comments about his "Legendary " status ....your the only one who said it , he certainly didn't. Yes to took it the wrong way, curt the legend is a good friend of mine and that's what we call him, and i can tell you point blank he is not happy but will do whatever he can for the club and wants a new manager more than anyone as he dont want to do it.....
