All the so called premier league seem to be a bit confused just now!...... tryin to dream up a mad but possible bet.... how bout leicester, spurs, arse n city as top 4 in that order and as a side bet mark hughes to united and lvg to chelsea.
At least the two teams above and the two below us have 'difficult' fixtures so our usual bore draw won't have that much effect on the table
In theory we're still in with a chance of top 4 but realistically the way we are playing we can forget it. Spurs and Leicester are playing better football and we will struggle to regain any form of consistency as LVG remains under pressure.
Ah but City are just as **** as us, Arsenal are a always on the verge of being batbattered, Spurs are spurs (the biggest insult in football). There's literally no way to tell. In fairness, half the top 4 probably won't finish top 4
I don't know about that mate. They're not perfect but they have been significantly better than you thus far this season. Top 8 is a free for all as it stands.
City's last 6 away games. 3 loses 3 draws. Not 100% but don't think they've scored either. Should have specified away form
City will finish top 4 easily. As will Arsenal. I think Spurs have a good chance as they are consistent and have pretty good squad depth. Leicester will be an unknown until a handful of games from the end of the season. In short, we need to start kicking on soon or we can forget it. We've managed 1 point from what should have been a minimum of 7 and more like 10. Harder games to come which are now must wins.
I agree about the pissing of at least 6 points from the last few matches and possibly more. But your bit about harder games: remind me of AstroTurd. Projecting points on the basis of opposition and so called hard games. One lesson from this incredible season is that the easy games are not so damn easy and the ones perceived to be more difficult should not be if we've got the team and attitude right. On paper the Chelsea one was supposed to be the most difficult but it should really have been the easiest win for us as they were so ****. The games are all difficult to predict and no more banker wins for any team.
Bournemouth away and Norwich at home should be 4 points minimum, whichever way you try and dress it up and look for excuses. Bournemouth have won 2 games at home, Norwich have won 2 games away. We account for 1 in each instance! They were two of the easiest fixtures of the season, undeniable and impossible to bury in fluff about "no easy fixtures", and we got the sum total of **** all from them. I'll bet that none of the teams that finish in the top 4, or the other 3 teams if we finish in the top 4, get no points from those two fixtures.
Every game UTD should win or try to, but at the moment cant win any game or even score, except against Liverpool (but thats always going to happen)
I know it's a formality that we are going to make it 4 wins from 4 on Saturday but you could at least make a match day thread to honour LVG last game in charge
To get 3 points against you guys we will just continue to follow our ManUscript and it will be 12 points from a possible 12 .
Imagibe Swansea could win against other sides? They wouldnt be in the **** right now would they. Poor when sides can only up their game for one season. Cheating the fans I guess.
Tbf most managers (even the mediocre ones) have got the better of Van Gaal so it wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure he'll be Monk'd again (in spirit anyway)
Just having a bid of fun guys , hope it's a good game tomorrow. Man U are in their biggest transition since the start of the Premier and feel if the young guys and manager are left alone good things will happen . Happy New Year and hopefully a peaceful one ...cheers
"We have to get points otherwise the gap is too big and that is why we have to do what we have to do. We have to work, prepare the game, perform and then evaluate the game again. That is of course much more difficult when you don't win than when you win. We need to win because we want to be at the end [of the season] in the top of the league, and not the middle of the league." More clueless waffle We have to get more points... no **** sherlock ...why we have to do what we have to do We have to work, prepare for the game and then evaluate the game... seriously wtf We need to win bcos we want to be in the top of the league and not the middle... wow nothing gets past this bloke. He worked that out all by himself
