    @donga kloppo
'We were promised flood defences but they never came' - mum spends last four weeks trying to save her home from rising flood waters
    http://www.independent.ie/irish-new...r-home-from-rising-flood-waters-34323557.html

    same in Ireland.

The damage is great for the climate fraud cause though. The Greenies are going batshit mental, they want taxes and regulation to fix this! If you even suggest adaption over taxes and regulation, they throw eggs at you

Bjorn Lomborg believes in global warming, but disagrees on how to deal with it, attacked physically and academically, Dr Lomborg's crime is wanting to deal with it by adaption as it is far more cost effective and will actually save lives

Academic censorship is alive and well in the the world today. When government controls science, it will always be that way, so forgive me for not openly trusting NASA, the Met or politicians when they talk #globalwarming

I look on this argument about man-made/natural as the difference between colds and flu. Pretty academic, in some ways, as a bad cold and its after-effects such as chest, sinus and throat infections and respiratory complications thereof can kill you just as much as a mild flu. Whether you believe climate change is man-made or sun-made, point is the planet is warming and throwing ever more CO2 in the atmosphere is like throwing petrol on a fire.

So lets break down your argument. You claim a tornado or hurricane cant remember, floods and a warm december and stormy december, and a warm day at heathrow are proof of CAGW.

I posted old news articles (that you need to pay to see the full article) that prove all of this was common as it is today, over a century ago, and has been happening perdiodically since we have been reporting.

I also have reasonably argued that this happens all over the world and often it is worse than today's weather, El Nino confirmed decline since 98.

You come back with blah, blah blah whilst ignoring facts and the salient points.

    Great argument.

One of the only scientific papers you posted on here actually refuted the point you were making <laugh> Dr Judith Curry was a co author, I suggest you check out her site if you are going to use her work as a source http://judithcurry.com/
Stick to making up fiction from stats, you are little use for anything else

What you said about pertrol ona fire is not only scary that someone can claim that but the most ludicrous claim ever.

The earth has never had such low CO2.

If 500ppm is throwing petrol on a fire, what is 6000ppm or 4000ppmn? Both levels in earth's history where life thrived and there was no ice and no deserts
please log in to view this image

No relation to eachother whatsoever, CO2 and Temp, other than rising temp means more CO2 not the other way around for the Vostock Ice cores, temp riuses first, 800 years later CO2 also rises. The reverse of claims

Furthermore, what do you think the earth does between glacial periods? It warms up, looking up some O18 ice core records for Greenland will clear it up.

    Important factors.
Lindzen and Choi 2009 paper for the IPCC (which was left out of the report) proved that there is no CAGW, which requires more and more heat to be trapped, satellites detected this is not true, in fact observations showed exactly the opposite of CAGWE claims. Stop reading the guardian mate.

Also, CO2 doesn't absorb almost ALL of the IR radiation spectrum, WATER does.
Also, CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere, we contribute about 3% to 5% of that Co2, so 5% of 0.04% we contribute.
CO2's warming effect is logarithmic, meaning every time you double it the warming is less and less until nothing. The biggest increase from doubling CO2 is from 10 to 20ppm, circa NASA 1971, where they stated staturation was already under way and there never could be a tipping point. The Theory comes from pure hypothesis about Venus originally

Sunspot and earth temp 400 years of excellent correlation
CO2 and Temp 28 years of piss poor correlation

PJ liked your post because you are using the same non scientific argument he uses, and ttherefor any claims of petrol on fire are meaningless

Seriously, if you have not read even the IPCC reports, then how do you even know what they are claiming, dont go down the same road as these other ******s.

Talking to Astro and the others is like talking to children who dont want to go to bed no matter how much you tell them they will be tired in the morning, anyone that follows their examples are an insult to human intelligence

Only someone with an agenda, an environmentalist mentalist or a complete idiot would call CO2 bad.

And Irony, all the times I said Oil conmpanies were evil and was laughed at, now the climatards on here are happy to call Oil evil and behind Climate change denial <laugh>

I really must stop reading the posts of mouth breathing morons on this topic. People who dont even do basic reading and spout off, make me ****ing laugh

Oh and Donga, if you botherd to read up on this, half of the global temp rises come from cooling the past. Not measured warming <doh>

How rewriting the historical record is making it warmer is beyond me, witchcraft

Petrol on fire, Corn yield in the US, to blame for keeping billions alive all over the world, since we started pumping out CO2 durng the post war boom. Yes not all is down to CO2 but this correlation is better than the CO2 Temp one. More CO2, more Corn, until the US in the 2000s set aside 30% of corn for biofuels, which killed 10s of thousands globally from malnutrition and starvation as prices blew up drastically, this also had an effect on the stability of the middle east, grain prices shot up too. Lack of food is one thing that gets the masses angry for sure

Petrol on fire, Africa is becoming green again in arid regions like the Sahara below, Africa becoming food prod stable.. bad news.
Sat image of the Sahara, greened up a LOT, thanks to drought resistent plants, more CO2, plants need less water, green savannahs returning, species of tree returning, all that means more rain as trees and plants create clouds, eventually the sand becomes sandy soil. Bad?..

Dismayed at the lack of even trying to be objective and actually see what's actually happening in the world.

Astro Tobes and co totally believe what they do because the media and politicians are saying it. They have no idea about the science, the records or anythng else, once the Guardian and Cameron, Obama and Co blather, that's good enough for them. The folly of fools

Of course no one will touch the benefits or the fact that CO2 was 10 times higher than now when the world had millions more species and was green from pole to pole, and yet it never burned up. In fact it froze several times since, all that CO2, no tipping point?

Scientific fact for 800.000 years CO2 rises followed temperature by 800 year lag

What next, blame the dinosaurs extinction on CO2? Watch, I bet someone claims that <laugh>

No you dolt. You live in Finland, you're a climate change denier, you were waffling on about energy prices in your homeland and I posted a piece by a Finnish organisation that stated that the temperature in the land in which you reside has risen dramatically and at twice the rate of the global increase.

I'd have thought that this might concern a resident and therefore chose to inform you of the #facts.

I note you had no come back on the challenge I made to your both nonsensical and made up 'facts' that you retorted with.
