I'll try and be as objective as possible.

I'm sure most if not all of us before the season began would have gladly taken our points tally after 24 games, almost two points per game. Surely if we maintain that we would finish in a play off position come the season end, however with the play offs it is a lottery to some extent given all depends on one result. Therefore finishing in the top two and securing auto promotion has to be the objective and at present I don't personally see us achieving that. We may do it but recent results and performances suggest otherwise.

So to Brucey. I'm sure the vast majority of other clubs in the Championship would like to see Brucey as their manager given he's achieved promotion out of the Championship a number of times before. I saw on this forum someone suggesting is Brucey getting the Mourinho treatment; I think he's more akin to getting the LVG treatment. Two clubs accumulating points and positioned to do well, but the supporters are totally fed up with tactics, and performances in spite of the majority of results being positive with very few exceptions.

I've supported City for many years, and will continue to do so whatever we achieve or not, its my home town club. That said I have not particularly enjoyed matches now for a couple of years. The football served up is dour, slow possession based tactics, we play in front of the opposition and don't particularly get amongst them a lot of the time. If you want to see lots of back passing, sideways passing and numerous touches on the ball, we are the team to watch. Brucey seems determined to hold onto the point we start with, rather than chase the other two on offer. The first 30 minutes of just about every game this season has been safety first and bloody boring. I've got accustomed to reading the programme during the match its that bloody boring! Apart from wanting positive results I want to be entertained just a little, is that too much to ask? If the results aren't there, but I can see that the players are leaving 'everything on the pitch' I can live with that.

I also believe that with a background of players getting as well paid as they are nowadays, it has rightly or wrongly raised peoples levels of expectations, happy to be told otherwise? Also its not a relatively affordable sport to watch for many these days, again leading to supporters wanting value for money when they attend; that's results AND performances to match most of the time.

In overall terms, I think Brucey has done an okay job to date this season. Personally I would not get rid at this time, particularly with a transfer window upon us, but frankly come the end of the season, goodbye, I've had enough of his football! Can't believe I'm saying that given what he has brought to the club over the last three years. I'm at the point were as a season ticket holder I'll continue, and will always support City, but I will do fewer away games and certainly don't look forward with the same enthusiasm to home games presently.

Brucey has certainly attracted some great signings to the club. I remember when we signed Tom Huddlestone and I thought what one hell of a signing he was at the time! That aside when I look at the money he has spent, and look at the potential asset value of our current playing squad, he's wasted one hell of a lot of money. Also am I the only one to suggest in spite of spending, and the supposed quality we have, no recognised back up to Robbo? No quality defensive midfielder? Iffy back up keeper, one proven striker when most clubs have 3-4? Surely players need to understand that unless you play well then you will lose the shirt. Akpom's selection yesterday bemused me for that reason. Some players must feel that irrespective I won't get a game. How the hell as Elmo not been dropped, he's been woeful generally this season by his standards.

I fear we may hit financial meltdown without promotion and players walk away with no fee being involved at the end of the season. One things for sure IF we get promoted, we need to do a Watford. Brucey is good at getting clubs out the Championship (or use to be?), but once there he's out his depth.

To close as and when Brucey goes (and please sometime in the next 7 months) lets get a young up and coming manager, not some old dinosaur. Wonder if Michael Dawson fancies being player manager with Andy as first team coach?

In closing its just another supporters view, nothing more, if you don't agree I have no problem with that. Just putting it out there

Hull City are doing ok so far. Nothing more....Yet.!!!!! 5 out of 10 so far imo.

Time to start 2016 with a win and then kick on after the FAC game when we have 3 more very winnable fixtures. Cardiff and Charlton @ home and Fulham away before the end of January.

Time for a few of the players to either shape up or ship out. They know who they are.
