Cardiff and Reading are decent sides. They wouldn't lose in the manner we have to Leeds, Rotherham and now Preston. These are appalling defeats, not so much the defeat, but the manner of the defeat. The team don't seem to have applied themselves in any way shape or form. You can't use the number of games as an excuse either as it's the same for the rest of this division.
The issue isn't losing away from home, it's how we are losing and losing making exactly the same mistakes. We have started poorly away from home every time and given ourselves a mountain to climb. If we had lost unluckily due to us attacking them and them scoring on the counter attack I wouldn't mind, but we aren't, we are putting in very timid displays. What's the answer? I am not quite sure, Bruce is paid a lot of money to make the decisions and today he clearly got it wrong today. Is it time for him to go? I'm not sure, I don't like sacking a manager as quite often that's not the answer, but at what point do you have to say enough is enough?
I'd talk to Vern and play with his head until he ate his own tongue, but he has me on ignore. The pussy.
Is anyone going to defend Bruce after yet another abysmal performance against the bottom teams.???? The man is just flat out incompetent, making endless tactical and team selection errors, and should resign...or if not be fired....NOW!! Leaving out Hernandez, who was raring to go, and replacing him with a sulky kid who has been missing simple chances all season, was madness!!. But the whole team played like they thought they just had to walk on the pitch and a win was in the bag. Its happening over and over again, managerial errors, no apparent game plan, and unmotivated players (with a couple of honourable exceptions). Allams its your money thats on the line. Show some cojones and get rid of this overweight clown!!! BRUCE OUT!!!
The **** was trying to take the piss out of FT, not that he'd be arsed or needs me to fight his corner. But, if you're gonna try & rake the piss out of somebody's spelling, at least try to get your own **** in order. He does it with all his accounts & thinks people don't notice.
Hull City failing to beat teams at the bottom of the league..Well blessa my soul..Its been happening for about 50 years... I recall, as a very young boy, seeing York win a 4-1 at BP in the season when they went down and City won the league... Nothing changes...
Just back, so I haven't read this thread yet, but we were utterly ****e. Again. That's one point from twelve in our last four away games and they were against teams that might well be competing in League One next season. On track for promotion my arse.
The players let him down. We have 3 games in 6 days. I'm guessing, as you are with most of your tripe, that Bruce thought a number of the eleven players who started against Burnley would not be physically up to playing all three games. Preston was the game out of the three where a changed formation may, & should have, led to points. It was the obvious game to make a few changes. QPR, on Friday is, on paper, a harder game. It's obvious to most that Hernandez isn't physically up for three games in six days, Dave was injured forcing Elmo back into the back four, although he's (Elmo) has looked like he's needed a rest for a while now. Diame is another not fit enough for 3 in 6. Bruce had to make changes. Is Diamonde fit enough to start? I'd guess not based on the fact he wasn't picked. Snodgrass, Maloney & Akpom were the obvious replacements for those rested. With the eleven starters I'd have played Maloney behind Chubbs & left Clucas where he was at the start on Saturday, but I'm not an experienced manager, I'm just a punter with an opinion. The problem, in my opinion, is the players. We have a number of influential players who are either expecting a new contract or don't want one. After taking a, much publicised, pay cut when relegated they now want to know what the the rewards will be, if promoted. Until the contract situation is resolved the performances will continue to be indifferent. Bruce can ask the owners to sort it all he wants, but if they won't engage there's not a lot he can do about it. Of course this is only my opinion.
We'll only get back on track when Dawson is fit again - how long is he out for? Okay we played well and beat a good Burnley team the other day but generally without Dawson we lack leadership and look vulnerable at the back. Sorry to say it but our hopes really do rest on the shoulders of 1 player
Hernandez has to play, or we lose, Akpom's a fanny who can't stay onside, if Arsenal recall him I'll be ecstatic. They might as well recall Hayden as well, poor ****er deserves to be with a team who'll actually play him.
just back from Game-ball definitely across the line I was smack behind goal row 6- to say the ref had a poor game was understatement of the century- if we had played like we did in the last 25 mins we would have won it- lucky we didn't go behind earlier in the first half from some absolute dismal WTF should I do with the ball play in the first half- onwards and upwards
