Oh, Newcastle away first game of the season we nearly lost it the second half. Everton was **** from start to finish. Even against Swansea it was getting a bit desperate after Swansea pulled one back. So we've had 3 good second halves over the course of the season.
Another one of those games where we should have been two or three goals in front before their fluky goal. We have ourselves to blame - easily winnable game.
Worried about Antonio. Ex player hex A goal. An assist and motm. I had a feeling this might come back to bite you Thomas!
I'm allowed to be frustrated at a player running the length of the pitch without any opposition coming near him.
Seriously of all the performances, that was the most infuriating. I mean what the actual ****? Is it cause we're not on TV? Or is it cause WH are not worthy of us performing against them?
We have been like this for too long. Even when we were in the championship we were a great first half team, then ran out of energy, ideas? Premier teams just exploit it more. Still no players on the bench to change the game.
I blame Steklenburg Clasie Romeu Clasie again Cedric Pelle Long Wanyama Martina Juanmi Ramirez VVD Koeman.
****e goals to concede. Would it have been a pen if wanyama hadn't lobbed old arthritis hips stekelenberg? And got to blame yoshida for the second I'm afraid, he didn't have a clue what was around him
For the umpteenth time and it's not good enough. Surely Koeman can see this. The fact that we had a storming 2nd half against the league leaders just 2 days ago makes today even worse! We had to go for the kill and we just took our foot off the gas. Again.
Should've been all over at HT. Punished for not taking our chances, because we were never going to keep that intensity up. Conceded two sloppy goals and the second was really avoidable. The first was a bit unlucky. Frustrating.
This was exactly what I was thinking! It strikes me of a manager thats has seriously run out of ideas. I thought RK was suppossed to be a brilliant manager ( according to a few die-hard followers on here ) and was beyond critisim. Well apart from the freak Arsenal result we are starting to see a pattern develop of a manager who struggles to respond to tactical changes from the opposition.
I don't think we can blame individual players for that second half performance - the whole team failed to show after half time. Quantitatively; the side failed once again to deliver from a winnable position when they had the opposition 'on the ropes'.
I hoped for something, but not totally surprised. Just glad we've already picked up some points v. Arsenal.
