For me, Fraser made the bigger difference coming on, injecting energy and pace. Oar did ok too, probably needs a bit more match time though to be more effective. Apparently Varney has been doing very well in training too which hopefully will serve us well.
Just to quantify my comments on Frasers earlier season form. Yes he did score goals but that is not what I look for as the main qualities of a winger. The goals were important and a bonus but I was looking for more in terms of supply. The last couple of matches when he has come on he has put us on the front foot. Hope that explains my comment although I know I am in the minority with my thoughts. Oar- its difficult to give an opinion really as he has had so little game time. He didn't do anything wrong but again has shown the attacking mindset which I expect from a winger. He tracked back well but didn't take anyone on, wasn't putting in constant crosses and didn't really penetrate.
