I watch enough. You aren't taking into account the second half of the season slump, which will happen to Norwich or Bournemouth. You have just beat Spurs and Liverpool. You have enough to get out of this, I think you will finish about 15th...
It amazing we are still in a position to actually get out of relegation. If we had lost against Liverpool and Spurs which we really should have... Then we would be second bottom..... Bear in mind, we lost against Sunderland 2nd bottom and drew against Villa.... Bottom...............Amazing really!
Plenty of time mate, another two wins on the bounce and you will be looking down on a few teams again...
I wish I shared your optimism but I have seen more than enough this season to suggest we will go down. In fact 2015 has been a horror show from start to finish. It's the fact that I could probably count on one hand the among of games in a calendar year thar we have looked competitive at this level that really worries me.
I think we huffed and puffed a bit and now we're knackered through the fixture congestion, so things are going to get worse im fairly certain.
Ah, a slender 1-0 loss and all the doom mongers are back out in force! All it goes to show by playing the same team is we have ZERO options - if we don't spend in January and in the right positions we probably will get relegated. Talk of sacking SM is bollocks IMHO. All our main players are knackered! On a sidenote to CC - you still haven't told me who we have sold? (Selling 6 players in 4 years, 3 of which were forced and 1 was stupid money doesn't cut it with me that MA is just a selling club, get over that fact!)
Darren we've sold anyone that was upto it and low and behold we're getting relegated. A list shouldn't be required unless you're a fish.
As an outsider this was a bad loss for the NE, I was hoping you would beat WBA today, if its any consolation they did the same to us in similar circumstances earlier in the season, they do seem to ride their luck and we both need this to change soon.
Seriously how many good players have we even had in that period? You can't sell crap. Like indicated anyone good was sold.
We've lost to West Brom reserves away and drew with Villa, hardly results that inspire people, we've got that waste of money Mitrovic up front. Need to buy a striker but sack McClaren first as the football is awful and we go down if we don't. We ain't coming back this time.
The wins against Liverpool and Spurs were blips. We would be well adrift but for those. McLaren needs sacking asap.
Also mate regardless of the reasons we sold them we sold them, we are **** and look like being relegated, so im right when it comes down to the bare facts of my statement. There's no getting away from it, so stop trying buddy. Are you still going to argue shelvey wouldn't be better than colback or anita? Hes a million miles better than both mate we could do much worse for sure.
Side stepping the question again! Carroll at the time wasn't properly replaced - we then brought in Ba, Cisse and Remy Nolan - Cabaye Barton - no-one at the time but Sissoko Cabaye - he forced this move, Gini is his replacement long term Ba - had a release clause - Mitrovic (at the moment sadly is his replacement) Enrique - Santon - then never really replaced The only mistake I can see was that SM played the same line up as he did against Everton - only thing is we have no feckers in back up who can stake a claim (only one is SDJ) so who were we miraculously going to field? Sterry? Gouffran? Toney?
Was McLarens appointment really down to Penfold. Oh yes he would have needed to sanction it, but my guess was that McLaren was championed by Carr. Penfold knows nothing about football recruitment, players or managers and must have taken McLarens appointment on advice. Carr is too influential and one Yohan Cabaye does not make the man infallible. There is talk of Villa going for Austin in the window, as a last chance saviour. Not likely to happen, but if they try for him you have to ask why we continue to ignore a proven goal scorer. I did not want McLaren, l mean, the joker turned us down until Derby canned him. Surely to God we can do better, where is our pride, why do we accept second best and say thank you for others cast offs. Get rid now, whilst there is time and the change does not scupper the window.
Every week we are outgunned, out-'cornered', out-possessed, outclassed. Literally every week. Yet it never changes. Arsenal next. I suppose that's another Mulligan for old Steve. I'd give a fortune to look inside the world of the almighty moron that is Lee Charnley.
Mate I just don't understand what your point is here? Regardless of the reasons we sold them and we are ****? I could have al the reasons in the world to eat my own **** but ultimately it would be a mistake if i fell ill I
