Just a word of warning given that the M62 seems to be collapsing westbound give yourselves an extra hour to get to Preston, not sure whether the sink hole in the motorway will be fixed but it will delay you if it has not been filled in. Also given the rain we've had bring a canoe. And if we play like we did yesterday you will stroll home with the points.
What's your view on the likelihood this game will go ahead? Football aside, the weather is being a right **** on that side of the country at the mo and I genuinely feel for the poor buggers caught up in it.
Won't be a problem, no rain expected for most of today and tomorrow is a decent forecast, pitch is in good nick and by the time you arrive the floods will have gone down, so expect it to be on. Yes football is secondary for some people at the moment, but there is not a lot you can do when it has not stopped raining for two months and then you get the deluge which lasted for 36 hours, life goes on though and folks on this side of the border are level headed and will get on with rebuilding their lives.
M62 fine, but started raining at Manchester and hasn't stopped since getting to Preston. Here now and looking forward to the match tomorrow.
The roads may be fine but the railway from Manchester has had a landslide so that's goosed now. As for hotels they have some so best of luck with that one
