Shambolic day for me yesterday but it was my worst day a Saturday, why I bet on a Saturday I will never know ! Chelmsford 215 a bit of a tentative ew bet on red stripes at 10/1. The Varian/Mitchell combination on stocking at 3s is not to be overlooked but I just can't help but wonder why Meehan has chose Jordan uys who takes of a handy 7lb . Red has already beat stocking this year whilst Mitchell was on board and today red is 7lb better off . The claimer is the concern but he does have plenty of experience and the odds are more than fair. Red has a excellent place rate and is below the last winning mark. Good luck all who play
Surely somersby has to be looked at in the 2.00 at kempton been soundly beaten by the front two in the market, but in receipt of ten pounds in a five runner race 14/1.
Vaniteux/Sprinter/Ned Stark/Supasundae Long shots: Peitit Mouchoir should relish the soft ground but has to overcome relative inexperience on 2nd hurdle start (only 3rd overall start) having been impressive in a Punchestown festival bumper and then when odds on in a maiden hurdle. I like him and Woodland Opera against the field in that race. Flemenstar e/w in the 2m Grade 1- will jump like a stag out of this bog. Not sure he and Un De Sceaux will end up in the same postcode but I'm looking forward to these pair pinging the fences!
Toppy. It was actually a very different and very spiritual Christmas in hospital. So much kindness, selflessness and love, made me very thoughtful and thankful. Somehow opened my eyes to what I think Christmas is meant to be about. A nice little patent on the first 3 races at Kempton - Gibralfaro, Vaniteux, Sprinter Sacre
Aidan O'Brien's going to the Festival with that one I'd say. Has won on gd/firm too so not just a mudlark. I do hate trying to work out Triumph horses thoughout the season however. Some really progress a lot better than others do.
Plenty of time to study then oddy , well done and glad to here your home . Was 6s enough your repair your bike and buy some stabilisers ? Lol
I've just done somersaults across the room!!!! A sizeable chunk on at 38s after the winnings on Supasundae. Just had a funny old feeling about today- wouldnt normally play such mad odds but if one horse deserves a Grade One again it was him. Hope Un De Sceaux was okay when tipping up?
