Livermore Hernandez Maguire I thought great second half performance today. Top drawer goals too. And that pass by Maguire was bloody awesome.
Don't normally vote but here goes Hernandez, a class act always looked to create something. always in control of the ball, he is a player. and showed today he scan score from outside the six yard box. Robertson, made things happen and look very creative and dangerous going forward McGuire, competent and assured in defense, with just one blob on his resume today, a back heel that went to the opposition which had they scored would have changed the complexion and maybe outcome of the game.
Difficult choice today but for the right reasons. Clucas Livermore Elmo Any member of the outfield ten could have got a mention and the McGregor only doesn't because of the lack of things to do. Much more encouraging performance.
1. Livermore 2. Big H and Abel joint second as I couldn't separate them 3. If I'm allowed a third, Robbo. Nice to see some clinical finishing and much better application all-round.
Just a reminder, you're voting for your top three players in order. If you vote for two players for one of those places, only the first one will count.
Burnley prepared very well for yesterdays game. Training session on Christmas Day afternoon and they travelled to Hull for an overnight stay. Don't underestimate City's performance yesterday, it was a terrific win against a team that were very much up for it, and we blew them away in the second half.
Anybody else feel like Meyler is struggling a bit? Not totally over his injury maybe? Didn't really contribute anything yesterday and hasn't for some time, can't need a rest as he's just come back from injury.
He hasn't looked good since he came back from his injury, I'd rest him against Preston and give a long overdue start to Hayden.
