Watching SSN, I didn't feel any emotion when the goal went in, didn't even mutter a get in.

    Night, Oz.

You're right MT. I fear this will paper over the (massive) gaps, he'll be given a few more games, scout some more rubbish etc.

Reading the reports from those there it was a poor, poor performance. They didn't even celebrate the goal apparently.

For me, this was a new low. We actually nicked an undeserved late equaliser and I did'nt care. Worse, a sneaking part of me was sad because it meant Fraeye had got an undeserved point on his CAFC record, and we can expect a crass interview from him, plus adoration from our genius football 101 leadership of RD and KM. It goes on. The general opinions I have read are of a team run off the pitch, who nicked a point at the death. paper over the cracks doesn't begin to describe this mess. We are on the point of going into a life or death transfer window (relegation wise obviously - I know there is serious stuff going on out there) with decisions to be made by Mr Bean, and a CEO and owner who both believe we are doing fine, and thought the same last summer.
I will say I am happy for the fans who travelled there, but although the points we need to get out of relegation are still few in number, the problems in the club are all very real. Besides, judging by Katriens latest DVD reléase, there is no conception within the club that the problems stem from above. The fans are delusional for imagining it is 'their' club. It remains to be seen how many deluded fans are still shelling out money to watch this rubbish come may.

Just got back. 305 mile round trip. Almost made worth it by the scenes at the end when Lennon equalised.

Too knackered to post much, but a good team would have beaten us 6-0 today. We were that bad. I think we had our first short on target after 60 mins. The tunnel was right by the away end (about 600 of us?) and Carol and the players got dogs abuse at half time.

More bad news was a serious looking injury to Diarra, but Cousins going FF.

Paper thin squad will be stretched on Monday. Holmes Dennis played midfield today ffs, but Carol still thinks the squad is good enough.

Ashton Gate a building site. What is all that about.

Credit to the players for keeping going today, but can't recall a thinner and more threadbare team in 38 seasons going !!

No disrespect to Lennon here, but it shows what people think of Sarr when Lennon was playing for the pikies a month ago!

This was a shocking performance today, the worst of the season in my opinion.

Wtf was Fraeye thinking of when it was clear that Diarra was struggling after his first knock, there was no call to Sarr to loosen up and come on. Sarr continued to trot up and down the touchline in his hat!

We made the wurzels look like Barcelona, however the goal made a massive difference to the table. Instead of five behind them we remain on two.

This season is going to go down to the last game of the season with 2 or 3 teams able to go down.

We'll be down by then I think, I shall not shed too many tears.

The problem is MK Dons and Rotherham keep winning. There is now a four point gap to get to safety, potentially a seven come Monday.

A draw is just not good enough; performances not good enough. Probably why fans did not seem that bothered when we equalised. We're sleepwalking into League One.

It gets worse week by week we should be cut adrift by now .Its only because there are other teams nearly as rank as us that we aren't .
At least the other sides down there are united on and off the pitch we are in complete turmoil .
Awful on the pitch ,a buffoon for a manager and a CEO and owner who don't give a toss .

Bristol City will also do well to stay up this season, but they carved us open at will.

They must have had 5/6 golden goal scoring chances....sitters.

They also have a rich chairman prepared to splash the cash. They had a £8million bid accepted for Dwight Gayle in the summer, only to be knocked back by him.

True. Fair play to their Chairman, two brand new stands open yesterday and a third one - a triple decker - under construction. Must have cost a fortune. Must be great to have an ambitious owner.

I know what you mean Don, but despite everything I still love the old Club with a passion & they were great scenes at the end when Lennon scored. Sort of made the whole day worthwhile.

Well the CEO spelt it out in black & white, it is a problem managing the fans' expectations, which are different from Roland's. Carol put it quoite well last week " Let's not make Charlton into a team which expects to go everywhere and play better than the home team", so he clearly accepts the limits of Roland's expectations.

He said two weeks ago our squad was fine, but in yesterday's post match interview said our squad is too small.

It's hard knowing when to be a puppet, and when to actually try a hand at this managerial lark.

The problem for him is that we all know what his natural Managerial level is ....... bottom quarter of the Belgium third division about to be sacked!

His only option is the puppet line! ..... interesting to hear him say that Skipper gave the post match team talk.
