No it's not I don't see how it is, Your reasoning is as idealistic as mine. Clubs like Leicester and Swansea have done well from the championship without Texan billionaires why can't we?

Do any of us actually enjoy being Sunderland fans at the minute? I don't I've fallen out of love with one of the most constant and important things in my life and it's because we can't compete at this level with this set up. Something has to change and we've replaced everything else multiple times. So by process of elimination Short must shape up or ship out.

I want Short to go mate. I don't understand how it's pointless asking for it? We have that right, because ultimately, it's our club, not his. I also don't think we should look at just Everton, as to what we can and can't do with our club.

'There is no one coming in', Do you know something different to us?

'Short is doing what he can with a limited budget' That's our point and problem, his limited budgets!

'We appear to be one of few clubs not being fined or not adhering to FFP'? Big deal, the clubs that are being fined seem to be thriving in the league while good old Sunderland look to be relegated. I know which side of the fence I'd rather be on.

'We also have to do with a number of important injuries against the most expensive side in the league' So does most other clubs in the league, the difference being, they have a squad that can cope with injuries and suspensions because their chairman gave them a budget big enough not to leave them short, in the summer.

I do agree with you that we have the right manager <ok>

This is how bad the lack of investment in the squad has become and it's blatant for all to see. We can't even lay down the bread and butter basic spine of a football formation. A ****ing back 4.

Jones, PVA, O'Shea and Gomez all have to take responsibility for three soft goals. Not good enough. City don't even need to be good.

I should add I also agree we have the right manager atm but you could have the fastest car in the world but you won't win any races if you don't put fuel in

I doubt there's a manager in world football that could keep this squad of players up. Unbelievably short on quality and numbers.

But who's going to buy us? Swansea, before kick off, are in similar ****e to. Us at the moment. How can an "owner" ship out? He can't be sacked. He has to sell his asset. He simply can't sell a club unless a buyer is found. I am not being idealistic at all. I'm looking at what I know for certain. There is no one buying the club as it stands so he has to stay. As I say, unless you know of someone willing to buy us?

My ideal scenario would be that man city's rich owners richer brother buys us and does what they've done to city!

Short is a tight arsed American billionaire who made his fortune ripping off companies going through hard times,Nothing has changed with sunderland, hope the **** ****s off but its not going to happen, its like his mate Learner at Villa. Short must have bought us as a pet project and now grown tired of it, he wont invest anymore. so we will always be scraping along the bottom unless he sees the light though i doubt it.

Not saying I don't want him gone. But it's not like he can be sacked. There are no investors looking to buy clubs is what I mean. Everton are much more attractive than we are from a league perspective. But they've been fir sale fir 15 years. No one seems to want them so why would we be more likely to find a buyer?

How do you know no one would buy us you said yourself we are ok as far as ffp goes so surely that helps a sale. I'm not up on the Forbes rich list so I don't know who might buy us but I know the man who owns us now doesn't seem interested in helping us to our potential. He could put the club on the market? If he's not going to buy players he could at least canvas for buyers (thus putting things in place to "ship out") I'm not saying he should resign on motd tonight but if he's not going to helps us achieve he should start making plans to let someone else try.
