According to the beeb's match preview... "The Tigers have had more attempts on goal than any other Championship side (255, excluding blocked)." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35138853 Another impressive stat. Pity more of 'em don't go into the net!
elle - nah you didn't, you really got up early to wrap your lass's presents ! What was it, a new milking stool for them tha goats, or a wicker basket for collecting all them eggs from your productive chickens ? Just make sure you wake up early on Friday next week (1st Jan) for the QPR game ! My one Christmas card just arrived today. e-mail from Steve Bruce. More than I got from my nearest family members. Have a good-un today.
It was my fault really, for no reason at all I got it into my head that boxing day was what you all called Christmas. She picked out her own gifts as always so I just put them in a gift bag. She wanted some expensive purse and then some cross stitch kit. I guess the hipsters cant knit or make quilts anymore,, now its all about the cross stitching. She got me a Metropolis poster, a PS4 and a few new Pendleton wool shirts so I made out well I think.
Bit different over here Elle Christams Eve is when i buy her them. Christmas Day is when she wears them. Boxing Day is when she takes them back and gets the money.
That definitey would include off target shots, which wouldn't go into the net without the aid of a deflection. Keepers are generally little troubled, same as last season.
I suspect most of us know what "attempts on goal" means, but thanks for clearing it up. If our off target shots were aimed better they might result in goals
So is that classified as one up front for us or is Diame now a recognised striker? Looks like a 4411 to me, again. Obviously I'm hoping we stuff 'em, Diame scores a hat trick and makes me eat my words, but why oh why have we drifted into starting with one forward every ****ing game?!
Second half today was unbelievable compared to the first, if Bruce and the coaching staff can replicate that for the rest of the season then we have no worries at all. I thought the tactics were spot on and I was pleasantly surprised to see Clucas pushed up front at the end, I'm sure he could play as a striker if need be. H Mag continues to impress. The only very small downside again was Dave Oddbadger started nervously again for the 3rd match in a row and nearly cost us an early goal after they broke from the corner, I just don't understand why they haven't identified this as a weakness yet but all in all, the second half is what we want to see and repeats of that will get everybody back on board with things.
