Merry Christmas to you too and everyone here. Thinking of your walk on the beach with your big dog. Is it this one? "We call this beach Hole in the Wall beach, but I’m not sure that’s its technical name. It’s just north of Dublin, below Howth. In fact, when the tide is out you can walk all the way up to Howth.....this beach has the best clouds and the best sunsets." please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image http://www.fromchinavillage.com/2014/04/evening-beach-walks-north-dublin/
Thanks very much Kilburn, Unfortunately, I never made my beach walk this morning for a number of reasons. First of all, weather. The forecast was for a far better day on Christmas eve so we did our walking then on Portmarnock beach. Secondly, we are having a bit of a traumatic Christmas with one family member (lifelong QPR fan) seriously ill and another, passing away today, my aunt and Godmother. Other than that, I had a very family oriented Christmas, hope you all had a decent day too.
So very sorry to hear of the loss of your aunt and serious illness of another family member (not your London uncle who I met?). I know your strength will help bond the family together during this difficult time. My very best wishes to you all.
Very sorry to hear that you've suffered loss and the worry of other illness in your family, Fingals. Of course, there is never a good time for such things, but obviously upsetting at this time of the year. All the best.
Sorry to hear that Eamon. This hasn't been one of my more memorable Christmas times either. Spent all of Christmas evening in A&E with my eldest who had heart palpitations. They detected an irregular beat and he now needs to get his GP to put him on a 24 hour heart monitor to see what's going on. At least they ruled out anything serious after a series of blood tests, a chest x-ray and a thorough examination. We then spent the early hours following boxing day trying to get all the youngsters in the house to shut the **** up and let us get some sleep! All that and Rangers concede a last minute goal! No...... not my best Christmas. Roll on next year!
My best wishes Finglas and Col. Sorry to hear of your problems. Underlines how important even half way decent health is to having a good life. Cheers!
