From Friday 1st January 2016, the Club will be implementing changes in the way it sells tickets for matches. The changes will see an increased drive towards selling through our online ticketing site and via our self-service ticket machines. Although supporters will still be able to visit the KC Stadium Ticket Office, tickets from here will be sold through our self-service machines. Sales over the counter will be from our Tiger Leisure retail store, while telephone sales will remain in place. Supporters, therefore, will be able to purchase home match tickets from the following outlets: Online: Tickets will go on sale one month before the fixture from www.tigerleisure.com (print at home) Self-Service Ticket Machines: Tickets will go on sale one month before the fixture from machines located in the KC Stadium Ticket Office, Tiger Leisure (Prospect Centre) and Flemingate Shopping Centre, Beverley. Telephone: From one month before the fixture until three days before the fixture (eg until 5pm on Wednesday for a Saturday game) by calling 01482 505600. Please note tickets will be posted out and won’t be available for collection. In Person: From Tiger Leisure (KC Stadium) for two days before the fixture (eg Thursday & Friday before a Saturday game) during normal opening hours. Tickets will remain available online until one hour before kick-off (print at home) and from self-service machines at the KC Stadium until kick-off time. Tickets for away games will be sold over the counter in Tiger Leisure (KC Stadium) and by telephone, with sale dates to be advertised via the Official Website as normal. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...-1st-january-2867282.aspx#izwvmLLuHM6w9iBM.99
They need to improve the print quality from the machines because they don't scan very well or not at all in my experience
So they are shutting ticket office then and sacking some staff I should think, I wondered why FC were selling tickets in their office yesterday
So I take it we longer have the option to give your pass up for a game if you wanted to buy an additional ticket to sit with someone ?
It seems to be getting hard work just to go to a match. Not everyone has internet access, nor is it always possible to get to ticketing locations at specified times, many casual potential punters have probably got no idea how to carry on. If I did not have a pass I would be tempted not to bother. Untill the club can see their way clear to allow supporters cash access on match days attendances will be mainly limited to pass holders.
I agree you should have a cash day ticket sale as some people may decide on that day to go. Ordering by phone is OK as they are sent to your home but the big let down is you can't collect them so again you can't just phone up that day on spec and go watch a game. Agree they need to get there act together on how to attract fans.
I think losing the option of collecting pre booked tickets from the stadium is a **** idea. If you don't own a printer, then booking tickets close to mates with passes just became more difficult.
