Come on HIAG it's all in jest. This place wouldn't be the same without your hilarious gaffes and backfired wums. If it wasn't for you we'd have to rely on CFC:FFP to laugh at and he's gone all quiet since Chelsea's capitulation. Merry Xmas
Agreed. As much as some people want to see him fail, he's a top quality manager. His first 3/4 season with Liverpool is going to be a learning experience about which players he wants to build his team around, but I'd expect him to get Liverpool back up there with the big boys, like Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Utd before long.
Liverpool have the best manager in the EPL I think. He is a lovely guy who has a proven track record. He will come good and LFC will be a champions league team again.
'Pool have the best manager in the league? Yeah, right! He'll be the best right up until he gets the sack for being as useless as Rodgers! Leicester have the best manager in the EPL, at the moment.
... I was saying the very same thing when we appointed Ranieri ... the knowledgeable critics and football pundits apparently felt that his time managing Greece was a far better barometer for his likely impact at Leicester City in the EPL than all the big clubs he had managed successfully in the top leagues in Europe ... I can only surmise that those 'experts' mistook Leicester for a country ... perhaps confusing us with Scotland ...
He's got a pretty decent record with a few blips. Consistently improved Chelsea, won the odd trophy here and there and got sacked a couple of times after finishing 2nd with lots of points. Not sure about the best manager in the league bit, but he's had a very respectable career.
Cheers buddy ... I like to think it's more because of the style in which we are playing rather than the current league position ... like most Leicester fans I'll not begrudge falling from our current lofty perch provided we keep playing with the same attitude and ambition ... season's been a joy so far ... setting records all round ... we've just won 4 away games on the bounce (a club record in the top flight) scoring 3 in each ... that's quite mental but one hell of an adrenalin rush ...
