I don't want to upset anyone but I note there are 25 members involved across the two divisions of Sheepy's prediction league and I'm sure some must have more time than others. However, it would boost the traffic and interest on here if some of them were able to contribute to the general discussion threads rather than just predict results. I see the same posters keeping this forum active and the board is crying out for some input from those who have been around for a while, look in but generally stay silent. I note there are a few "regulars" like Hilts and Dai Jones who don't even participate in the prediction league but still post on other threads anyway. We need a few more to put their heads above the parapet and liven up the board. You don't have to agree with others but different opinions are the spice of this forum. At the same time we don't want World War 3 on here - we've lived through the personal stuff before with the likes of JH and thank God that's gone now. If you have an opinion. let's hear it and then I can disagree with you.........
It becomes infectious Sparkey. Perhaps a few controversial posts to get the arguments going. We could do with a bit of help from the team though. Will think of something appropriately controversial to get things going. I don't know, Jones is worth every penny of his £35k or slade would have got us promoted long before MM or surely Cornelius would have been top scorer in the league if it wasn't for his ankle injury....... I'll think of something.
I am usually one to get certain members blood boiling, therefore without being a wum i will as it said on my school report 'Needs to try harder and stop looking out of the window'...!!
well now we are getting silly. Tan is the only thing between us and the begging bowls and non-league....like it or lump it. That lot down the road got away with it and urge everyone to buy him out without seeing that it is nigh on impossible these days with large amounts of money needed and big costs thereafter. We may not like Tan but he is all we have.
People and social messaging goes through phases, I used to be in touch with H, Benni & Hannah on Twitter but they don't post often now. I think they still pop in to Not606 now and again but don't post.

Like the mini rant OS. I'll keep on contributing. One good thing though, the majority of posts here are City related and not like the other boards with utter rubbish threads.
Think it might be like newspapers Nin. The other boards are the red tops read by the youngsters where we're all old farts on here (with a few exceptions) reading the broadsheets. Cardiff City NOT606, the Guardian(s) of the message boards! Read that whichever way you wish.
Neither H nor Benni have been around for a couple of years. I'm friends with Hannah on Facebook and she seems to be enjoying life at present. She posts the occasional like or comment on things City. She's still a Bluebird at heart!!!
You crafty bugger Spark! Lost my City buzz fella and find football in general has changed too much for the worse. Got to an age where the past seems like football was always played on Sunny Saturdays or dark cold Tuesday nights with a great Ninian atmosphere, no matter what the final score. No preconceived internet comments about forthcoming games, no after game analysis of which player was **** all game, just a good day out with your mates watching the City. Haven't been down the Nin since mid way through the Prem shortly after Malky's sacking and surprisingly I don't miss it any more. Got a new 6 month old grandson to keep me occupied these days m8. Making sure he's indoctrinated into following the Bluebirds mind, getting his first kit soon. Have a Happy Xmas m8. Will pop in again soon.
Nice to hear from you anyway Bob - I don't think you're by any means on your own in those thoughts you've expressed regarding the game in general and City in particular. It's far too intense these days and I suppose it's fair to say forums like this tend to push it that way. Still, I enjoy the game and the forum, so for what it's worth have a nice Christmas break and start posting regularly again - I used to enjoy your involvement even if we didn't always agree.......
