On some occasions he has been very poor and unlike many others at the games I never actually voiced my opinion at him. Have a nice Christmas and perhaps I will see you on Saturday.
Meyler bleeds for the club. He's the only one that uses #hcafc on twitter as far as I know, and clearly cares a lot about the place with the way he interacts with supporters.
I never used to rate him, but over the last couple of months have started to realise he is one of those players you miss when hes not in the team, not the most gifted but one of the few who appreciates you have to battle in the championship.
Same here used to groan when his name was read out on the team sheet, but since relegation he's shown his true colour's Black and Amber, one of the few players we have who is prepared to die for the cause.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham #hcafc now talking with all the players out of contract next summer. But far from easy not knowing where the club will be in 16-17.
What a load of tosh! The contract simply needs to state two salaries, one if we are in the Prem, and a second one if we are in the Championship. It seems all contracts these days have sell on clauses, so if someone comes in and offers that or above, he's allowed to talk to that club anyway. You don't want to sign we'll announce you are free to go and we are unlikely to play you as you won't be deemed part of our future. The fact we have so many assets that could walk for nothing in 7 months time is short sighted and reflects poor judgement and management. If players don't want to sign that's another thing, nothing you can do about that
He's got a point. Most clubs don't know for sure what league they'll be in the following season. I don't know why this is such an issue for us lately.
Wasn't there some stat that only Aluko, Chester and Bruce have signed new deals under Bruce's management? Seems a ridiculous way to do business. Not entirely blaming him, but that's a fair chunk of time to only re-sign three players.
Like I said, not blaming him, just that's the stat since he took over - which is what, three and a half years now.
Probably because we chant Hull City FC, by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. I imagine it can get quite confusing.
