I would like to join in to wish all Hornets and some Canaries a politically correct seasonal greeting. So a wonderfull winter solstace holiday for all. May you have an environmentally friendly, socially conscious, gender neutral seasonal celebration and a successfull entry into the generally accepted calender year 2016 (not forgetting those who use other calenders).

What about those of us celebrating the summer solstice? Don't we get any season's greetings? Sounds like discrimination to me. Perhaps that is politically correct in your neck of the woods.

 

I think that with all the degrees of opinion expressed here, I am safe with the cover all Joyeuses Fêtes.

 

I was going to wish everyone a happy St Stephen's day for Saturday but think I might pass!
