Oh that was awesome, everyone was superb today. I really enjoyed that and at times it was so funny to see the way we just robbed the ball back from them. I don't think they knew what hit them. It could have been 5 had Iggy been more clinical. Another clean sheet too, just awesome.
Are there enough superlatives to describe that?! Outstanding in every department. 3-0 and it could have been more. Wonderful early Xmas present!
I sat down with 20 others in a remote French restaurant trying to hold a conversation with them, but really my mind was elsewhere. Between the main and dessert courses I just had to check up on the score and when I found we were 2-0 to the good had to spread the news around. Middlesborough, Forest, Charlton fans were all delighted to know that the 'Reds' were losing, and even more happy knowing that if you go about it the right way, should they ever reach such dizzy heights there is a chance of staying with the established teams.
Oh - Happy Day - we have never had more points in a full Prem season - and there are still 21 games to go. Who would accept 17th place now?
