It'd be ****ing great if they won it.
A mate at work was saying he wouldnt put it past Man U Man city Chelsea to put in big bids for a few of their players just to try and destabilise the team and team spirit.

Saying that we beat the ****ers :emoticon-0140-rofl:

It would be great for the English game if they did go on to win it.

Thing is Tickler reckons they have been really lucky and aren't that good and that they're two injuries away from relegation and without Vardy and Mahrez they wouldn't have won a single game and that they've got a really poor squad and that we're probably better then anyway and Steve Walsh doesn't know what he's doing.

    LOL. ROFL. Etc etc.

    Time will tell.

Must have taken some poor displays and results for a team 9 points above Leicester to end up below them and get relegated.

Incidentally, apropos of nothing in particular, Bolton have spent more weeks at the top of the Premier League than Tottenham have.

I do think Leicester will win the title now. They just keep churning out results,if they lose they tend to follow up with a win -no long term losing streak.

All teams below them seem incapable of wanting to grasp the opportunity to challenge.

I don't think we'll ever see another season with the traditional front runners all capitulating, and an unfancied team at the top of the table. Hell, I even think we could finish mid table in the current PL.

Lets hope that the nerves don't kick in towards the end of the season. Whatever the end result, I think football benefits from the season Leicester are having.

A crucial victory for Spurs in the title race:

Leicester stars refused entry to London nightclub - and forced to stand aside as Tottenham players walk in
Table-topping Leicester City stars were turned away from a top London nightclub - and were even forced to stand aside to let some Tottenham players inside the venue.

Danny Drinkwater , Andy King , Matty James and Ben Hamer were not allowed into Mayfair club Drama on Saturday night as they tried to celebrate Drinkwater's 26th birthday.

It happened just hours after the Foxes had beaten Watford 1-0 to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points with just nine games to play.

But their position at the top of the table didn't help them gain access to one of London's top nightspots.

As the four of them tried to talk security around to allow the celebrations to continue, they actually had to step aside to allow Tottenham players Hugo Lloris ,Eric Dier and Nacer Chadli inside.

... happy to let them have that one ... apparently Eric Dier hauled one of the bouncers back by his shirt but was inexplicably let off without caution - presumably under the different rules for different people initiative <whistle>

Dier's impressed me this season and I had begun to wonder if he might be worth a look in that sitting role for England - but his inexperience showed when he grabbed Giroud. Needs more games under his belt.

Drinkwater must be in Woy's thoughts now, meanwhile. I notice Shearer said on MOTD that Woy had been raving about him.

They're really going to win the league now. Even if Spurs had an easy run of fixtures they wouldnt make up 0.5 points per game to win the league. And they havent, they've got a tough as **** run-in.

Wenger should be sacked, they'll never have a better chance of winning the league. Never.

Don't think Leicester will win it. The probably should but games like the west brom one showed they're vulnerable by the unlikely teams. Teams they might under estimate, teams fighting at the bottom. Not sure they will lose much but I see a few draws along the way. Which obviously leaves the door open right until the very end.

they are going to be huge favourites against newcastle... wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Newcastle get something out of that game though.

You mean the West Brom side that are one of the in-form sides and in their last 6 league games have won 3, drawn 2 - including Lester - and lost only 1?

... you could be right Wade of course ... but did you actually watch the West Brom game?

... we completely mullered them and only the woodwork twice and a string of fine saves from Foster (plus giving a silly free kicjk away in Gardner range) stopped that game ending up 5 or 6-1 ... now that same West Brom team has deservedly beaten Man United ..

So we are bang in form ... and when teams do 'park the bus' as Norwich did, the manager is proving most adept at changing the personnel. during games to acheive a break through ... if we are in danger of being thwarted by struggling teams, so are our main rivals ...

... and that's all you can really ask for.
