And morning to you too. Brace yourself do at least. 72 hour dose of happy chappyism. You'd better get Ristac to sign a new contract. Looked to be having doubts last night and chesh has promised him an automatic starting spot in our first eleven
If we could play like we did 2nd half for 65-75% of the time, or if Wood can start putting the sitters away things would be great. Like you said about Byram though in the other thread, it was one game for him, he has had too many shockers. I really enjoyed yesterday's game if we could forget from the 5th minute to the 40th.
Byram played very well and I really liked Bridcutt, but for me, admittedly from watching on sky, MoM for me was Doukara, changed the whole momentum of the game and our attack.
60 fella. Not suggesting you're wrong, he was excellent, just my opinion on the game as I saw it. I actually thought the whole team were brilliant if the truth be known. And may that continue
Sorry I don't know your name but I for one looked a lot at the duke and you can ask WJ I said he was lazy and couldn't head a ball but what a physic.Well at the time I suppose under the old guard I was right but last night showed me why we paid so much for him
Prediction time just for the one who drive and the ones who have a car and pay heating bills Petrol will go pown even further and will probably go 95'7- 99'7 range Mortgages will go up probably early in the new year by 0.25,% Cheapest del is GB ENERGY euro will still head south and settle at 1,,45 to 1,50
60. Not saying he is or will be a world beater. Truth is he may go back to his lazy days, just saying that, form me (only) he was the MOM because he changed the whole dynamic of the game. We were getting battered until Duke came on. Fair play to him and Evans for changing things (or Cellino)
Forget Cellino it was Evans and perhaps Evans will gain more confidence now.Yes I believe it was a very big step up for him lets face it his biggest club was Rotherham!
If Byram does go, and it looks likely, he's not irreplaceable, we'll have a good replacement for him, if not better.
I'm not so sure about that. Purely as a RB, you might be correct, as Berardi will hopefully come back with no loss of form. I personally have high hopes for Lewie Coyle too. As a RM, or as he demonstrated at Wolves, a MF who can play right across the park, he excites me. Always has. I've noted on here a number of times since I first saw him play that he had the potential to go on to be a modern day Paul Madeley. That was even before he was played at RM. I think it's still possible he could develop further & be able to play anywhere. His injury, plus this contract wrangling have held him back. There is no better header of the ball in attack, especially in the opposition penalty box. Unlike most of our midfield, he is a goal threat, drives into the box, is not too shabby with his crossing, and is suberb ghosting in at the back post. Who else in our midfield manages to do any of this consistenly? Adeyami might come close but tbh, I think he's faded a bit. Can't think of any other MFer that is a genuine penalty box threat. He's also got a superb engine & attitude. Remember, this guy is not match fit, yet on Thursday, he was still battering away until the final whistle. He's a freak! I for one think he's easily worth the £12k a week. If I was Evans, I'd be looking for a compromise - an attractive wage, and more importantly, an agreement he would be entitled to 50% of any fee if he was sold, or some such mechanism to reassure him that he wasn't going to be sold before the ink had dried, a la Smith.
60. The Cellino comment was meant tongue in cheek. Apparently Cellino wasn't there last night so Evans made all the decisions and we won......
