Does anyone know what Moses said to BBC Humberside after the game. Burns has tweeted that they won't be replaying what he said? Sorry if this has being discussed already but I'm not going through every thread to find out!
He pronounced Rollicking with a B at the front and said Bruce gave them a kick in the bottom but pronounced it the same as the first syllable of a well known team in North London. Not earth shattering but not BBC either !..Seemed a straight up honest kind of guy when he spoke.
What's wrong with arse and bollocking? We have a city full of them and kids no doubt get bollocked all the time. FWIW it was very unprofessional, and although it was like fairy dust to our spoiled ears, children would have been at the game and listening on the way home. It was extremely irresponsible and I filed a complaint yesterday morning. I'm yet to hear back other than an acknowledgment that my complaint was recieved and that they will be looking into it.
I'm with you Bobz. This gradual erosion of standards and respect in this country is what is sending us to hell in a hand cart.
I children like my 9 year old son who listens to constant swearing from behind us for a full 90 minutes! He knows that people swear a lot at football matches, but that he doesn't mean he's allowed to! I'm sure Moses' words have not scarred my son for life. I find it quite endearing to come across a naive non media trained footballer.
