Jurgen Klopp is not surprised by Watford’s impressive start to their Premier League campaign but says Liverpool are not going to Vicarage Road “to clap our hands for them”.

The charismatic German has been speaking to the media this afternoon ahead of Sunday’s televised clash and has also confirmed that England international James Milner will miss the game due to a calf problem.

 

Didn't much like that shirt at the time, but quite nostalgic seeing it-and him- now.

No idea why, but I have this feeling that someone is going to get sent off tomorrow.

 

More or less guaranteed we'll get a bad decision. Someone will get sent off for going into their penalty area with the ball...

Info for Watford supporters ahead of Sunday's Premier League visit of the Reds...
WATFORD fans in the Rookery Stand are politely asked to take their seats 15 minutes before kick-off for Sunday's game with Liverpool.

The 1881 Movement have prepared a foil display to be held up by supporters in the Rookery for the duration of Z-Cars, as the two teams take to the pitch ahead of the 1.30pm kick-off.

To allow the display to take place, the flags usually distributed by the 1881 Movement to fans in the Rookery will instead be handed out to those in the Sir Elton John Stand for this weekend's game.

Supporters in the Sir Elton John Stand are kindly requested to leave the flags behind at the end of the game.

Turkey without a good stuffing can be a bit bland.

 

Tight viewing tomorrow ... managed to get the rels to arrive at 3.00 thinking it was a 12.30 kick off.... but 1.30 kick off so rels arrive during the last 15 mins ... How can I cover myself as Mme does not know I carefully arranged arrival to after, I thought, match ended... I will be caught out watching the game now

At least I have made sausage rolls mince pies and florentines

I'm taking my 17 year old grand son to watch the hornets tomorrow. His mum says he is allowed a couple of pints. Quite a milestone if he buys a round!!!!

 

Quite illegal for a 17 year old to buy a pint.

 

That certainly didn't stop me or most 17 year olds I knew.

 

Years ago I read a story based in South America, where the supporters of the local team were all given silver foil. Following a decision by the referee that they did not like, and a signal from a trumpeter, they all reflected the sun at the referee with their foil. The combined heat burnt the ref to a crisp.

 

I don't care if we beat 8 of them as long as we get 3 points . i think we will get a draw.

 

Who's to say that it won't happen at Walsall, Swansea or one of the Championship games? I must admit if I could have my choice of Liverpool player to walk, I'd choose Skrtel as I think he's got away with so much for far too long.

 

Skrt's is just misunderstood and needs a hug.........or needs to hug..........tightly.........very tightly.........
