De plotting shed 2/1 in the Ascot bumper. Gordon Elliott's horse was hammered 21l by the mighty Our Duke 2 starts ago before picking up a minor event. Don't think it'll have much bother beating this opposition tomorrow. Take the price quick
Yes. Mighty. Let's not forget he only lost out by a half length to Death Duty who was given an absolute peach from the front by Nina. Some would say the best horse finished second that day and Death Duty is likely to be one of the very, very best bumper horses stabled outside of WP Mullins yard. Top price on de plotting shed 7/4 now.
Saphir Du Rheu looking weak in the market for the Long Walk - a lot of support for Thistle Crack (probably all oddy tho ) but here is my reasoning why he SDR will win- the race is 3 horse race with the only one capable of giving the front 2 problems is Deputy Dan fences obv never worked for him and his run over hurdles was encouraging lto and any form from 2014 puts him in the picture but has to improve still- Thistlecrack- obv improved but he was running against some horses who a) looked they would improve for the run b) ran well below their ratings but taking nothing away from him he ran very well ! But SDR has had a couple of runs so will be ready for this again fences didn't really go to plan and altho came second in the World Hurdle - he is far more consistent over hurdles and imo will have improved from last year so backing Thistlecrack you are chancing on him improving more which he will but the big factor is depending on Saphir Du Rheu running below his rating which he is unlikely to do (fell chasing at Kempton then came out a month later and won at Cheltenham) where as Saphir du Rheu does not need to improve to win this - Thistlecrack ranges in price at the mo from 9/4 - 7/4 and Saphir Du Rheu - 2/1- 7/4 and I now expect him to touch 11/4 come the off so imo some have got the market wrong but Beefy why didn't you open your mouth this time
Your raider looks strong boys but this is as tasty a bumper as we have seen this side of the water this season. I tipped FULL IRISH on his bumper debut and he beat what looked a strong field quite convincingly. I had been tipped off that he was pretty useful and trust me it will take a decent one to lower his colours tomorrow. The yard also run JUNCTION FOURTEEN in the novice chase and what a race that looks, he will go very close. In the conditional race I am keen on the chance of CRAZY JACK who will really appreciate the step up in trip, he is a nice price at 16/1.
Yep me too. The form of his last outing at Cheltenham where he was far from disgraced off top weight looks quite decent too. EW @ 16s will do for me.
Rose red 10s way to big ew should place easy , flows on the track and the conditions and line up should suit
LE MERCUREY (9/4) is my NAP tomorrow and I may put him a double with TRANSIENT BAY (6/4) at Uttoxeter. I was at Sandown last month when FULL IRISH won his debut and, despite being a bit green, he was impressive. The form was franked last week-end by The Greatrex horse who hosed up at Lingfield and 11/2 on offer at the moment is great value. I respect anything Gordon Elliott sends over for a bumper but I think the Emma Lavelle horse will be my pick.
