Learn the rules before you comment is pretty patronising... <laugh>

I do think we can all agree that Dunk should never have been sent off though.... <whistle>

Taylor had his back to him and hands below his head though! The two are almost the same except Ibe was crossing not shooting - and more pertinently it wasnt at Anfield against Liverpool. Therefore not given.

It's a good sign for liverpool that they are on the way back though, getting those decisions. 5 years ago you'd have to be ManU or Chelsea to get these.

If I wasn't on phone if try find the snapshot of both of those incidents and put them side by side so you could see exactly how different they are. Might even do it as homework tonight?

Hoilett was very good last night. Went on runs and put in some decent crosses and passes. He also tracked back and won a lot of tackles............................

And yet............he still gets slagged off. Even after watching someone play well, some people still can't hide their prejudiced view of that individual.
    Quite pathetic really!

Didn't watch much of the game so can't comment. What did he do? I was at the Burnley game and thought he was largely invisible.

Dare I say when he's absolute dross some people can't hide their prejudiced positive view of him?

I've been waiting for some of these performances from him, I was excited when we signed him but has been well below par, now at last he seems to have got his confidence back because the management pick him & give him a run in the team at last, long May it continue.

Dreadful goalkeeping. He used to get more stick than he deserved but he's been poor for pretty much all of 2015. Smithies deserves a run especially if he's meant to be the number one from next season.

I've commented before that live spectators get a better overall perspective than armchair fans viewing close ups on tv footage. However the close up replays are revealing. Sandro went down like a house of cards in a gentle gust of wind. The beast needs to man up.

I've been highly critical in the past but he was excellent against Brighton. He went both ways and crossed, passed, dribbled and relieved pressure superbly.

I think it must be a sign of his confidence that when he's low he tries to do too much but his decision making was much better. Great work rate as well.

It was a joy to watch both wingers causing havoc in their own ways.

I'm glad you're not criticizing him for going both ways! :)

    Spot on.
I've been very critical of Phillips too, but he was also very good against Brighton.

Is this truth and reconciliation? My turn.

I've been critical of Mackie and have seen nothing to make me change my mind. Indeed I've seen literally nothing, has he had something amputated?

Not sure I've got the hang of this.
