Just watched the above documentary on bbc 2 about Ben parkinson who was severely injured in the armed forces in Afghanistan lost his legs told him he would never walk or talk and he has just kayak the yukon river absolute legend and shows what we can do when we put our minds and heart to it. I am in awe of this human being makes you realise how much we take for granted.

Guaranteed he seen some of the most beautiful scenery you can possibly see too BEPPES , and a lot of animals that kept him in the middle of the river ...lol.
The source of the Yukon River is Llewellyn Glacier , I'm wondering if that's a Welsh thing .

Wow !! That was well worth the hour.....
What an outstanding young man , which is not surprising as you slowly see who his parents are as the show moves on .
To try to put together the injuries he received , which is violently overwhelming , to what he's accomplished and not just the Yukon trip seems unattainable .
My favorite thing about him though is you know when he gets that sh:t arse smirk on his face , an attempt at humour is coming ...lol
