Like MITO said, let's do it by playing great and exciting football. Winning football may also help :bandit:

He should concentrate on getting the players churning out the sort of football that'll create the atmosphere he craves.

I seem to remember Anfield not having a problem in that regard when you thought you were on the verge of lifting the Holy Grail?

    Acting like a £5m a year cheerleader isn't on his list of KPI's I reckon <laugh>

You can't falsify an atmosphere ffs, you're heading down the route of music when you score and a plastic flag left on every seat there.

Educated football fans will react to what's occurring on the pitch, if it's bollocks, then the atmosphere will mirror it.

And you're expecting him to create an exciting brand of football within 3 months?

He knows that will take time - so what's he going to do, just accept a quiet crowd for another year until he gets the team he wants? We won a few games at home by small margins but still no atmosphere.

I beg to differ. Passion is incredibly important. The football is too, but they're functions of the same thing.

As mentioned above, I appreciate that the best way to get atmosphere is to play exciting football and win.

But that's not gonna happen straight away. Will probably take until next year at least to see a team that is remotely close to what Klopp wants.

So what then - the crowd are gonna sit in silence until then?

Do you really think that the Anfield crowd will somehow morph into a cauldron without the football on the pitch being the catalyst? Come on mate.

Thanks for making my point. The Chelsea players tanked that game, and Leicester gave everything they had, their work rate and endeavour fed the crowd and then it became symbiotic.

I'm sure he'd be very animated if he was the only one watching, he's just so passionate <laugh> I bet he's a right laugh to go out with.

I don't think so. Following the highly embarrassing pitch invasion there was one comment from astro. Until the twitter thing and Garlic's thread nobody was interested and the comments on Garlic's thread were all about the nutter on twitter and none I remember even passing comment on the 'act' itself. The blues have always been more interested in us than vice versa. If you want to know anything about LFC, safe bet a blue will know - down to the last penny in John Henry's bank account!

I think Klopp might be genuinely shocked at the difference between legend and fact in English football crowds, compared to German ones, especially at Anfield. I fear someone at the club may have said something about his (justified) comments after the Palace game, and it's almost as if he is over-compensating now, thanking the Kop for actually staying there and cheering the team on until they got an equaliser.

Point is made now, Jurgen. If the crowd can't be arsed to do what a crowd is supposed to do (especially if, by tradition if not in actual fact this crowd was a selling point that attracted you here) there's not point begging them and then thanking them afterwards. Don't let it become Brendanesque.

Not sure I agree with all that. I think part of it was that Klopp was so riled up over the dirty tactics and possible bad injury that it was a way of actually calming him down, perversely. Another few minutes out on the pitch and away from having to face Pulis, he pulled that out.

OR.. are we saying klopp can't get the team going so he's going to get the crowd going and hope that wakes up his players?

lets change it up as you've all patently given up.

    1. cheslea fans sung all game and thier players never applauded back.

    2. Leicester players. Vardy and Mahrez getting huge plaudits... but who else is doing a great job? Kante and drinkwater... they are really driving the midfield. Schmicheal in goal...

  20. Interesting debate on the TalkSport poll tonight...

What's more likely, Leicester winning the league or Chelsea being relegated?
