A number of the managers have a claim to be in the top 5, but I cannot believe that Jock Stein is not included in this list. Not only was he the first British manger to win the European cup, he did it with a team of players who were born within a 30 mile radius of Celtic Park. This has never been matched. None of your fancy Dan foreigners. Players only earning what a shipyard welder earned (with overtime). And he won the Scottish First Division title 9 years in a row, which has never been surpassed.

 

Pub league managers are not worthy of consideration. 44 days in a proper league. Even you could manage Celtic to the title....

Eire:- I have the same poop sentiments as Glory but again I agree with Glory about Ferguson. He has to be top of that table. 2 Champions leagues, God knows how many domestic cup and titles and could have gone on for a lot longer. It pains me to say this but player development of Ronaldo to second to none, bought him for £11 million and sold him for £70 million. Let's not mention the class of 92.
