His loan season he did well enough tbh...
OK so Sturridge didn't play for 12 to 14 games in 18 months lol <laugh>

You're on the same silly theory as astro lol if a goals not a winner it doesn't count<laugh>

Where do they get you from??<cheers>
It was Suarez who didn't play for 12 - 14 games. Sturridge was scoring plenty while he was out - I was countering the point you made about him only scoring with Suarez in the team.

I've already said I disagree with astro about goals not counting or being meaningless or whatever he called it [go back and read my comments on it where I disagree with him] goals are goals it's why we watch the game [mostly]. It's a valid point to say he doesn't score match winners, I bet you were one of those calling Suarez a flat track bully - he can only score against lower sides <laugh> .. we take it in our stride.

I agree with you guys on this but tbf, its only on a par with your "Suarez was his partner" argument. He still scored them.

Having Suarez as his partner did help him though, it's a fact.

The 'winning goals' comment ignored games were we won by more than the number he scored, which is just twisting stats to suit your own agenda.

You didn't read my post then mate.

So you didn't respond to to the suggestion of Lukaku leaving for a CL club with a comment about it being more than Stones went for then <whistle>

I saw you said they will both move on UNLESS you get new owners. Hardly saying they will move since you also made it clear you were hopeful of new owners. Try reading your own comments <laugh>

Nope. I said that they'd be likely to move on unless we either got CL football or new owners. The latter would obviously only make a potential difference to them if they were going to make a significant impact in terms of the resources invested.

I also clearly said that if they were to go, we'd get a serious amount of cash that we could re-invest.

In a party at Kenwrights, we've already established that.

All them goals too .... which is why it's not about quantity or they'd be just behind Leicester ... right? <whistle>

suppose... if lukaku would score 10% of his misses and of course they'd drop drawing games. Spurs and everton have really missed the big chance so far and leicester have grabbed it with both hands so far.

Never mind LFC... we are ****... spurs and everton have 4th to play for and so far are ****ing it up.

The blues won't have it that [while I accept all goals are a plus] it's the goals that make a difference which are the important ones. Look at Charlie Austin last year 4th highest scorer in the league, where did that get QPR? ... or Charlie Austin?
