Would we win the Title?!!! Or realistically/Sensibly, would we be higher than where we are now? It does seem at the moment that we only want to play/perform when we are being watched by millions of people. If i am right in saying we have been watched now against Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Norwich, Sunderland, Liverpool and now Spurs. Out of those games we have won 4, drew 2 and lost 1. We obviously lost against Sunderland too but i count that as a Void game! The players must be more up for it on TV.
He does have a point, I've done the maths and if we keep up the TV form (1.75 pts per game) for the rest of the season we end up with 55 points (rounded up from 54.5) which puts us in 9th place on last seasons table. If we had the TV form for the entire season we'd be on 67 points (rounded up from 66.5) which get's us into 5th based on last season.
Excellent science skills there Sbm ..With the added bonus of nothing EVER going to get us beyond 5th ...win win
Well it will be interesting how we do in the next 2 games against Villa & Everton, both at home, both on TV and both on the back of 2 impressive wins against far superior opponents. I think if we beat Villa (we should do easily shouldn't we?!), the confidence should hopefully give us a good chance against Everton.
Well My 2-1 to the Toon prediction that I've rolled with every week has shown to have absolutely no influence on how we play so I can safely say that we will win the next 2 games 2-1
