Nope not at all. If leicester carry on and do well their stock will rise hugely. Probablt the biggest football market in the world Its a major **** up. Yet again
Sam will build you a house, you'll either live in it and eventually it'll get old and crap, or you'll build on it, make it better, bigger and more valuable. If you do the right thing, your house will be the talk on the street. But... If you put a Ferrari on the drive of your ****house, it's still a ****house. That's my analogy for your long term plan.
They'd get some extra fans... They probably already have a few. Win it 13 times in 20 odd years and they'll have a lot.
Sad fact is. If you are not a liverpool or man u. The major names in asia you have to win. Ala city. Chelsea. The only other hope you have is asian players. A risky business. Or do a leicester. Believe me. If they pull it off. They will be big. They now only what they see on tv and fed by the media.
I remember that. It was a case of `who are we going to watch Liverpool play this week` The days of Keegan, Dalglish, Heighway, Emlyn Hughes et al Cracking team though but.
Yes its an unpredictable season, can we add to that, by getting something from the upcoming Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool games?
Two seasons ago I don't think anyone thought it was possible to get results from these teams and look what happened.......I just think it's Sunderland.....you know the team that gets beat off Watford but will win against Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool on the bounce....lol. Would not be surprised at all......as at times it's ****ing madness supporting Sunderland!
Wigan under Martinez?, but they were crap. Chelsea gonna park the bus on Leicester. Predict 0-0. Jose's pride is really at stake on this one, he'll do what he does best.
Quite looking forward to this. More to watch Leics than Chelsea. I`d rather like Leics to turn them over for a). the big club comes unstuck. b). Mourinho cries. c). sheer spite.
I work alot in Asia, and everyone there is football mad, but it is always Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea and they are starting to follow Citeh & the Arse. That's basically it. I know one Singaporean guy who follows the Toon, so it's been nice giving him **** the last few years But when youre out with the locals in Malaysia, Singas, Indo, 'Nam etc, and you talk football, I get laughed at for supporting the Lads. They can't understand why I would support a team who isn't always winning, or challenging for the league. I don't think my sarcasm about being a glory hunting **** comes through :/ But yeah, they still talk about Dalglish, Owen, Fowler like it was yesterday.
Spot on HH. Leicester may get a following of kinds in Thailand if they carry on, and thats only because they are owned by thais. No idea how this would effect the rest of asia. The rest of Asia is still Liverpool and Utd mad, with Chelsea making a breakthrough. But also Barca and R Madrid. No one is ever gonna break their monopoly on the market.
