When this match kicks off, it is possible that as well as having a new Manager, the Swans could find themselves in the relegation zone - both of these would have been viewed as highly unlikely at the end of August when the Swans had secured 8 pts from the opening 4 matches.

However, taking only 6 points out of a possible 36 leaves the Swans "Managerless" and just outside the relegation places.

The time for turning the corner has come and nothing other than a home victory over the Hammers will suffice.

I'm going for a 2-0 home victory - ruled more by my heart than my head which is saying 1-1

As far as I see it we are in the relegation zone, on the same points as Norwich and only kept out by a goal difference of 1, so unless we win this game we will be firmly fixed in the bottom three for some time, as any new manager will need time, and until we can get a striker in the January window who can find the back of the net, it is going to be a rough ride...............<ok>

PS: based on the Citeh game, i'm going to be very optimistic and predict a 2-1 win, I still hope we do not start Go-miss, he isn't good enough.

Well.... for the first time in a long time I'm actually feeling optimistic! I think we'll win this one and fairly comfortably. I just hope Curts holds his nerve and puts out more or less the same team (Tabs fit and in for Taylor? :emoticon-0125-mmm:).

I too think we can net a couple(+) of goals and I'll stick my neck out for a 3 - 1 COYS :emoticon-0178-rock:

The term "must win game" is overused, but it truly fits this situation. We need to win our next 2 games and there's no reason why we can't.

Bit nervous about this game , Everton are the only team I hate playing more than West Ham .
That being said I too am more optimistic about playing The Hammers than past games .
If we get the same relaxed and focused effort as last game I'll go for a 2-1 win

I think if the new manager is at the game, we could be in with a good shout. Players always seem to up their game the first time in front of the new man. Still think goals may be our problem.

Being optimistic has made me nervous again! I'm revising my prediction to a 1 - 0 win. Lanzini and Sakho are big misses but they'll still be well drilled.

Add to that Payet, Reid, Valencia, I am sure they are missing about 7 or 8 possible starters.

Everton and West Ham had one thing in common that always scared me , a player that use to always come up big when we lose to them ...... Fellaini for Everton and Carroll for West Ham .Hopefully we can break that mold this weekend and keep Carroll out of the game .
I'm hoping Ferandez will see to that as he looked a new man last game .
I'm also hoping Fernandez doesn't leave in the window .

Fellani's been a pussy against us since playing for Utd , we now have Fed who will at least compete with Carroll .
