    Very good there Exile. The "Friday" song in my mind was actually Joe Jackson's Friday but JJ Cale is fine. <ok>

    The track had a fantastic base line - here's a live version of Joe doing his thing at the back end of the punk era.

    JJ Cale was responsible for a number of big songs, usually made famous by someone else.

    Still think my answer was better sparky. Wrong, but better.

    Yep, including hits like Cocaine.

    Got a number of JJ Cale albums. Some good stuff. A prolific writer.
