I've calmed down now, but what a ****ing stupid thing to do, everyone hates goal music, even clubs who've traditionally had it are binning it. To be fair to Mooney, I know he doesn't like goal music, this one isn't down to him.
Far to many empty seats yesterday. Coach from Filey could be mistaken for an old folks outing. Youngest person must be about 40. In n4 were i stand far to many old fans and a lack of young supporters. The club seriously needs to attract young supporters. Club needs to do something about our lack of support from young people or when us old gits pop off we are not left with an empty stadium. Need to do a buy a ticket for anyone at school and get a free adult ticket. Need to at least try to do something. I hate goal music but i hate all the empty seats even more. ****ing hell we are 3rd in the league and our support is seriously lacking No one could be arsed to join in with the. singing yesterday besides a few old fans **** atmosphere yesterday . I hope our new owners when we get them at least TRY to fill the empty seats. ALLAMS OUT
Don't feel that's the case at all. I'm sure there's more young fans then there has been in a long time, probably due to our stints in the premier league
I feel bad. I joked about us getting goal music after the lights were installed and now we have it. I must be almost psychic. Therefore, I'm going to joke about us winning the Championship.
Well theres no younger generation on our coach from Filey and we pick up in brid...leven..beeford...and beverley. Younger fans are lacking in n4 and n3 The two juniors i take tell me theres quite a few of there friends who use to go but price wise there parents stopped buying passes as mum or dad couldnt afford to renew the adult pass so there friends dont get took any more. A lot of our fans dont even live in Hull. Our support has nose dived this season and the club do nothing to fill empty seats.
Filey it was £318 for an adult and an U13 for a half season pass. You cant get better value than that. If people cant afford that then they really shouldnt even be contemplating it and have other priorities. 150 quid for half season pass a 19-22 year old. The club can do no more than that. Sorry. We have **** fickle support, we always have had.
Crazy if true but you are correct in regards to the noise or lack of. But having goal music is NOT ON AT ALL. Sort it out Mooney. ffs.
It's quite refreshing that there's something the club's done, that absolutely everyone thinks is a bad idea. Solidarity brothers (and sister)...
Yes, maybe the club can try to manipulate a vote on the subject: who wants music after goals, or who doesn't want music after goals but wants half time rabbit torturing?
The club are fully aware of the fact that there's still a hangover from the name change and there's a fair amount of fans who are happy to let others do the singing. As such, they need a way to make our ground a more hostile atmosphere for away fans. Even though I think it's about as popular as an audiobook version of War and Peace read by Joe Pasquale, I can see why they've done it.
NO TO GOAL MUSIC FFS. END OF. However, i dont have an issue with music for injuries, bookings, sending off or telling the match officials they are wrong
I'd be for goal music at the KC for when the opposition scored. Preferably, the music from Mario Kart 64 when you finish 4th or lower.
The only noise that can be guaranteed at homes games is when we score. So goal music is a stupid idea. If i want goal music then i go to watch the ice hockey.
Now that I would go for. Or perhaps the same if their Centre Forward is bearing down one-on-one with just keeper to beat.
It really doesn't make sense, it's a **** idea that's been imported across from Yanksville. I'd love to hear Leicester's reasoning for having it. They have a big oriental sounding gong, then Fire by Kasabian. It's hilarious. Although the season I was there, I barely heard it at all.
Having goal music full stop makes no sense. However in other situations and with the right choices it would be funny. ie. When Bolton took that free kick quickly yesterday and it knocked out a team mate the Benny Hill tune would have been funny at that moment.
