Yeah, that's the problem getting enough people on board to go with it being such a long time away. 1 away isn't bad because its just a few days. Going to France is a minimum 10 days, don't think some people's wives would approve of being left at home for 10 days+ ...
I've had a few mates go to Iceland, beautiful place apparently. The only issue IIRC they had with it was I think they said it was a bit quiet and not that much going on there. Depends on your personality and what you want from a holiday though I suppose.

Weirdly I felt safer going to Israel than I do going to France next year. Never thought I'd be saying that at the time, haha.
Yeah, true, it'll be expensive but definitely a great experience and one that we might never get a chance to see again. And also with places like Russia & Qatar coming up in the world cup and the next Euros being scattered across the continent this is the last reasonable time for us to see our countries in a finals at a reasonable (ish) price.

I've never been to a WC or Euros and it's definitely on the bucket list, but I doubt I'll make France. I half fancy Russia, just because I reckon it'll be a head **** experience
