Pop culture is not one of my best traits Spark. May be other posters can fill in the gaps. I don't like Monday Ruby Tuesday Saturday Night is good for fighting Lazy Sunday
Boomtown Rats - I don't like Mondays Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday Elvis Costello - Wednesday Week David Bowie - Thursday's Child JJ Cale - Friday (not sure about this one) but you could have, The Cure - Friday I'm in Love Elton John - Saturday Night is good for fighting The Small Faces - Lazy Sunday Afternoon
Very good there Exile. The "Friday" song in my mind was actually Joe Jackson's Friday but JJ Cale is fine. The track had a fantastic base line - here's a live version of Joe doing his thing at the back end of the punk era.
JJ Cale was responsible for a number of big songs, usually made famous by someone else. Still think my answer was better sparky. Wrong, but better.
Yep, including hits like Cocaine. Got a number of JJ Cale albums. Some good stuff. A prolific writer.
