    Could perhaps have used a more attack-minded central mid in there somewhere...early returns are that we're not getting anyone up to support in the centre of the park.

    As we suspected, our Saints team graphic (see 14:54) is horrendously wrong. Ronald Koeman has gone for a 3-5-2 formation today, but none of them can deal with a wicked right-wing cross down the corridor of uncertainty between keeper and defence. Luckily for the visitors, right wing-back Cedric Soares is alert at the back stick to hack out for a corner. Safety first.

    I don't think the pundits have much of a clue about our team and they don't really try and hide it.

    When I was watching the Liverpool cup game on Sky, I'm pretty sure they called one of our defenders Alderweireld - they must have slept through the summer. I think it may have been Van Dijk, too - either way, not exactly people easy to mix up.

    Palace is crowding our fullbacks, and we aren't getting anyone forward through the middle. Davis is too deep too often for my liking.
