    JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink will be in the QPR dug-out for the first time on Saturday afternoon, as Rangers welcome Burnley to Loftus Road in the Sky Bet Championship.

    The 43 year-old Dutchman will be keen to see the R’s build on the back-to-back wins registered prior to his arrival in W12.

    Victories against Leeds United and Reading have lifted the Hoops back into the top half of the table – and within three points of the top six.

    Sean Dyche's side, meanwhile, head into Saturday's clash on the back of a surprise 2-0 reversal to local rivals Preston North End last weekend.

    The defeat extended their winless run to four matches, albeit it was their first loss since the end of September.

    However, the Clarets are an obvious threat on their travels – and the stats back that up too.

    Indeed, since a 1-0 Boxing Day defeat at Middlesbrough stretching right back to 2013, the Clarets have lost just the once on the road at Championship level, going down 2-0 at Ipswich Town back in August, with one season in the Premier League sandwiched in between.

    Joey BARTON (Midfielder)

    Joey Barton needs no introduction to the Hoops faithful.

    Appearing 99 times for QPR, Barton returns to Loftus Road for the first time since leaving at the end of last season.

    He joined the Clarets in late August. Since the move he has become an integral part of the Burnley team at Turf Moor.

    He commands the play in the middle of the park, and Sean Dyche has slotted him in well, contributing to a fine run of form.

    The man who has one cap for England is spending just his third season in the Championship, and the combative midfielder will no doubt be full of fight back on familiar turf.

    Thought he would spring at least one surprise, but no striker ?? and the surprise is Henry ??

    Except that Burnley are a strong side, but hopefully we will see Charlie before the hour mark.

    I bet the Burnley fans will be giving Charlie some grief for sitting on the bench. Great opportunity for him to come on and shut them us just like he did against Leeds.

    P.S. what are the chances of either Barton or Henry getting booked?
