Can't resist it, going to open a new betfair account and take 6/1 on peace and co (£10 max bet) tomorrow
Bob, is it with the new format being with ATR? Theres a lot of spam but still the odd gem every week.
i'm losing interest in their banter. They're beginning to come across as a bunch of arse holes to my ears. And Delargy. I really don't like Delargy.
Funny a few of you fancy Kings to beat Nicholls horse, ADRIEN DU PONT, in the Cheltenham opener. The first thing I thought to myself when I watched their Chepstow clash was stick the pair in over a stiffer track and Nicholls would be well clear come the line. Tomorrow's new course should be perfect therefore for ADRIEN DU PONT. The reason I'm not backing him is, firstly, stable form isn't great and, secondly, young Twiston-Davies could get Frankel beat at the minute... What's wrong with Delargy Bobster, I like him! He also has great insight on Hendo's yard (thinking back especially to last season).
Cheltenham card will placepot them also. Im with you on Sceau Royal. Nicholls horses are way out of form just now and its putting me off the fav. He was awarded race last time but hasnt run since - Sceau has had 2 more runs going down a nose and then winning easy. He has scope to keep improving unlike the Ferguson horse who regularly underperform at HQ 2/1 seems reasonable. Kind of going against my previous write up in backing a Nicholls horse but i think Sametegal can give More of That a good run tomorrow. He beat Three Muskateers back in 3rd who went on to win a Grade 2 then unseated when hampered last time out. This is definitely on the shorter side for MOT and i think we can take him on at the odds. 5/1 Next Sensation run over further to lower his mark, i think tomorrow is his day same ground and CD from his Grand Annual win and only 4lb higher. 12/1 Mozoltov first run in nearly 600 days, he was Mullins first choice in the betting for the JLT before unseating and was then highly tried thereafter. Dropped 2 lbs and seems to be money around for him already. 10/1 West Approach half sister to Thistlecrack is stepped up massively in trip for 2nd hurdles run, badly outpaced over 2m last time out will appreciate this more. Has plenty of Stamina on the sire side also and could be massively overpriced based on that previous run. 16/1 Peace and Co should and i think will win this. No surprise ill be having a go on Melodic Rendezvous, he gets 4lbs from each rival and will relish ground conditions. The others have all been proven to be decent animals but nothing more. 25/1 Midnight Jazz was 3rd behind Blue Buttons over 2miles in a listed race last time up and is 8lbs better off today, and will appreciate the step back up in trip. 12/1
I just preferred Sceau Royals price and doubt there'd too much between the two. Kings should quite fancy the track as much as Nicholls and I'd rather have 9/4 than 5/4. Couple that to relative yard form and I'm happy taking the second fav to beat the fav. We're talking a nibble rather than a punt. Delargy - general bad chat. Loves a handicap. Applies the same punting policy to graded races. Given I don't even look at handicaps most of the time, he's not got much to get my juices flowing.
He's now BetBright sporting director Beefy and it looks like he's in a lot of **** re cheating in poker by allegedly selling his poker account to Brian Hastings
Of course I meant 3:00 peace and co which messes my more of that joke up. Nightmare. Anyway evens on p&c get your mortgage on
I'm really looking forward to seeing Peace and Co's return to action tomorrow. I think he's a really class horse, and will hopefully lay down a marker for the Champion Hurdle. The fact he'll only be 5 come Cheltenham is a stat that would put most people off, but he's a class act, and he's in the right hands so fingers crossed he can win tomorrow's race impressively and get a few worrying about him for Cheltenhan
Wardy mate, pay little heed to the market re MOZOLTOV as he was one of the Pricewise arrows last night!
My thoughts entirely. There is always ch 4 + 1 for those that miss it. I doubt this new change will make an ounce of difference to viewing figures. The bosses there fail to see the obvious which is since they changed the presenter team fewer people have watched.Although the panel is knowledgeable there are no stand out characters to provide variety. I personally enjoy ATR and I think the get in show with Harvey and Weaver is good fun but also well informed. I reckon viewing figures would increase if they had these characters on board and maybe even Chapman.
