Willoughby Court is all the more interesting as he is following in the footsteps of the yards huge success story Barters Hill who won the race last year!
Just seen that in the first race of 4 horses at Newcastle, 2 were owned by the same owners. Now they had the red hot fav and the complete outsider. I wonder which one they were on considering the outsider won fairly well.
Min couldn't have done much more. Double Island was a fair way back and he ran Open Eagle to 2.5 lengths LTO so it's safe to assume OE is pretty average and Min will be able to mix it at the top.
Nicely done by Min,jumped well and was never under pressure.Ladcrooks have cut him to 4s for the Supreme! Repeater looks to have a decent chance in the last 9/2
He was fine. You wouldn't say it was special but i did like his change of speed about 2 out. He also jumped quite well for a novice. I don't really know what he beat either. Was Ruby interviewed afterwards?
Nicely done by Willoughby Court,2/1 not a massive price but a winners a winner. Well done to those on the Tommy Hobson/Min double
I should have known this would let me down for my treble in three bumpers today. My luck is cack this week. The Simonsig half brother does look pretty decent!

I did mention other day not to back any Nicholls horses at the moment
