Not sure where this is going but not generally. I think you might be mixing up beaches and piers.

I feel that my finely crafted match thread is being derailed by a few amongst us. In fact having read back we now have 3 pages of posts and my OP is the only one which mentions the football. Surely a record for a match thread.
So I notice that Lawro has us down for a draw. Anybody else think we have a realistic chance of getting anything from this game? What are you expecting McLaren to do? IF the players turn up is it likely to be a backs- to- the wall type performance a la Bournemouth or should we try and take the game to them and pick a more attacking line up?

    Excellent questions Jak <ok>

Although maybe we should start with the more fundamental questions of:
What exactly is the universe expanding into? What was there before?
Are there alien lifeforms? And if so will we ever see them?
If you were a superhero which two powers would you like to combine?
Whatever happened to white dog ****?
Hoe does JPF fit so many butt plugs in all at once?

These are all very good questions:
Q1. The metric expansion of space is the increase of the distance between two distant parts of the universe with time. It is an intrinsic expansion whereby the scale of space itself changes. This is different from other examples of expansions and explosions in that, as far as observations can ascertain, it is a property of the entirety of the universe rather than a phenomenon that can be contained and observed from the outside. So I think that means its is expanding into itself??
Q2. They are alive and well and living in some of the seedier bars in Jakarta.
Q3. The power to increase the number of powers I have. The power to predict soccer results. The power to get people to talk about football on matchday threads.
    Q4. It become politically incorrect.
Q5. Many years of practice. Its is also helped by the metric expansion of the universe.

    Welsh Rarebit

    Method
      1. Put the cheese, butter, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, flour and pepper into a saucepan.
      2. Mix well and then add the beer, Guiness or milk to moisten. Do not make it too wet!!
      3. Stir over a gentle heat until all is melted, and when it is a thickish paste, stop stirring, and swivel it around the saucepan, which it will do quite easily.
      4. Leave to cool a little, and meanwhile toast the bread on one side only.
      5. Spread the rarebit over the untoasted side and brown under a hot grill.
      6. This mixture can be made and kept in the refrigerator for several days if required. Sweet white wine can be used instead of beer and gives a good flavour.
I quite like Welsh Rarebit. Anyone else got any favourite recipes?
