Big fan of savage too. As a commentator hes absolutely terrible but as a pundit i like how he has his own ideas and you can tell he genuinely believes it rather than keane who just wants to be controversial or others who are sheep and boring (minus carragger and g neville). Also savage can take a bit of banter and he always take a ripping from other pundits or from the 606 phone ins well

Savage is clueless though, he changes his opinions on things from month to month. He contradicts almost everything he says and he doesn't research stuff properly. All Savage does is basically shout what he's seeing on the TV at that moment without giving it any thought or explain why its happening. The likes of BT Sport & BBC should stick to serious football discussion and leave the controversial baiting of viewers to rubbish places like TalkSport who have idiots like Savage, Cundy & Mike Parry on to say ridiculous things to get people phoning in.

I notice it's gone all quiet on the BBC front now that Gary's stuffing himself with tapas instead of pies from Salford's new trailer-kitchen

And this in the Manchester Evening News.

    • "Manchester United fear the Premier League is so competitive it's harming their ability to sign world class players. Senior United figures believe it's harder to look good in England than it is elsewhere in Europe, which is hurting them in the transfer market as they compete for the likes of Gareth Bale, Thomas Muller and others."
They haven't considered they ain't looked good since Fergie left and they ain't a European footballing force.<whistle>

Savage is VERY lucky the bbc have fallen so far that they turned to him. I think personally MOST ex-pros could do what he does but he's been a little **** and winder upper all his career. It cost him at utd not that he'd the talent anyway but he made a long career for himself as a journeyman around the place causing strife everywhere.

now he loves the sound of his own tweets, vines and voice on tv.
